I don't think he meant to be rude at all. I think he was just trying to be funny but I could understand Aish and how she is feeling as well. I'd say that it's always good to learn and be aware of the diversity in the cultures from your guests before you interview them. I honestly don't know why the girls hate her so much. Apart from looks - she does not represent South Asians very well. A guy like Kumar Sangakkara - however (the Sri Lankan cricket captain) - if you watch his interviews and the way he approaches questions - that's a good representative.
