@infinitypark003 ok, didnt work on either, but on other downloads from different websites, i can click pause and then resume and they continue downloading for sometime and might freeze again or might finish, im guessing the website could be the problem but then why would other websites that i download from freeze as well but then they can resume...?
@speacialperson12345 Then the only thing you have to do is manually download the browser on another PC. A friend's own perhaps? And uninstall your browser and reinstall. That should be able to fix it

Personally, I find SeaMonkey is a better browser. Much more stable and faster, whiole it renders sites the exact same way Firefox does. It also includes an email client.
@TheIntellion, hi. every browser doesn't crash when you don't update it. Such as Firefox for example! If i have Firefox 3.0.9 and i don't update, then you have Stability problems. It all depends on computer and user. I never heard of SeaMonkey before.
@TownRetard, I had Mozilla Firefox 3.5.3 and It's very bad. It was slow and keeps crashing. I have now Safari 4 as a Default browser. Mozilla is becoming more like Microsoft.

i haven't tried Opera yet. Firefox was unstable so i had to move to Safari. But for now I'll stick with Safari.
