If the ability of an individual to obtain a desired piece of information in probability/time improves exponentially, the concept of secrecy would seem to change form and eventually break down.
If negative human environmental impact is the result of the unintended consequences of the use of technologies, haven't those consequences also built upon each other in an exponential fashion. If so, when/why/how do technologies reverse this relationship?
i think it's kind of naive to say that no biological accidents have occurred in history, as democracy has an interesting methods of occasional-conditional totalitarianism tools at their grasp
