it doesn't matter what race did what. europeans had all kinds of geographic advantages etc over africans. christianity held back europeans during the middle ages. monarchies used christianity as an excuse for their rule. only when the divine rights of kings was rubbished along with the church's power overthrown were europeans able to build liberal democracies
