Supposedly there's a large tank of explosive hydrazine and supposedly they're going to "shoot it down" (not accurate, it will be blown to pieces but not "down" as to earth, at least supposedly) but it's also possible this is a big stunt to CREATE THE IMPRESSION of having "shot down" a satellite by simply detonating the hydrazine at the appropriate time. I don't know if they really would go that far but I wouldn't put it past them.
