  • very good!

  • lol guess what was recommended for me after i watched this... literally grass blowing in the wind! rofl!

  • Amazing everythying, especially animation! All I can say is that the voice actors sound bored or depressed.

  • Is this done in 3ds max? How did you do the lips?

  • I REALLY want a vacine for that cold! lol

  • 2:05 awesome part lol nice ideas that parts kinda like the matrix lol

  • i'm watching video again

  • nice animation ever.

  • WOW!! one of the best anim8or movies ever!!!

  • lol that was mad. I i like shot 2.10. Now that was awsome!

    P.S Really good models

  • isn't the starting soundtrack from the medal of honour : heroes 2

  • I believe it might be. MP3D did the background music.

  • Great work! The invading pathogens are really scary looking. Keep up the good work!

  • seriously that jump-shot was amazing man : o

  • This looks like its been created with 3ds max or Maya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously im not even sarcastic!

  • haha, I'll have to disagree with you on that. but i'll take the compliment. thanks :).

  • i'm serious it looks like a game made with with those. i can't even make those models and animations even with 3ds max or Maya!!! not even Blender

  • modelling is much more about skill than animation or rendering is. 3DSmax and Maya may have tools to help smooth out animations, and tools to automatically make a scene look photo-realistic, but modeling is almost entirely up to the artist. with the most limited tool-set, it is only slightly more difficult to make a great model than it would be using a state of the art tool set.

  • Cool i always wondered why people won't use free animatino programs for movies or games.

  • did you use Anim8or for the whole thing?

Because in the tags it says things like Autodesk, Maya, 3ds max.

Just random tags or did you really use a little bit of them?

If you just used anim8or for the whole animations then you are really really really really good!

And do you take classes or practice?

  • It's 100% anim8or. I think I put the tags so it would show up to anyone looking at general 3D stuff. but I can't remember, I posted the video a long time ago.

No, I haven't ever taken any 3D animation or 3D modeling classes.

  • Wow! how long did u practice?

  • I would, but I don't think anyone would ever make use of it.

  • Just a question, In the begining, did you animate all the people that were running towards the enemy one by one? if not, how did you do it?

  • good question, I think you're the first person to ask about it. they aren't actual models. they are transperancy maps of the 3D soldier models i made. i placed these transperancy maps on a multi-polygonal plane, and then used morph targets to distort the plane to make it seem as if body parts were moving. from there it was a matter of copying and pasting to make an army of them.

their shadows were created in the same manner, but laid flat on the ground

  • you should post a tutorial.

  • ...Where'd you go?

  • I'm right here.

  • :0

    WTFOMGBBQ!!!

Heh... Haven't seen you anywhere in...forever...

  • haha, sorry. I've been up to stuff. You'll probably seem more from me in a month or so.

  • 1:27-1:39... "yay, we're going to war!" "im so happy i could skip all the way there!" :P

  • hahahahaha.

  • credits at the end, LOL!

  • you are artist you are the best that is incredible how much work! Very cool ! Nice job !

  • haha, well it's only incredible considering i made everything myself (except for music). looked at in any other light, i think its not really that great. hahaha

  • nice, but how do i make the bone in the middle of two legs?? im a beginner :P

  • HAHA everything is done by Eron hahaha Wow he must hade a hard time haha

  • yeah it was pretty difficult. most of the work was done on old school computers with no graphics card :(.

  • nice

  • nicw hwat program you use

  • anim8or.

  • please, can you tell what's the first song??

  • how did you make those disease monster things? could you please tell me.

  • I box modeled them.

  • what is box modeling?

  • hey, vid....Theres a wonderful invention called google out there, I think it can really help you...

  • Hey, ruf? Do you still have any slip of an artifact about your fur/ hair method? Every search I make always turn up the same teaser and nothing informative.

  • I'll post one in the general forum soon. it seems there wont be any more issues of dotan8.

  • thanks.

  • So uh, how's THAT goin'? lol

  • lmao take that you alien ive never heard of!!lol great work with anim8or....and to answer some ppls questions i think he used box modeling to make the hands so realistic!nice work :P

  • actually, i used cylinder modeling >_<.

  • that must have taken ages to make!

  • about 2 months on and off.

  • wow!

  • they were hand modeled polygon by polygon. no shortcuts were used.

  • hi can u show me how to make the figures so lifelike plz cheerz, click on my name and you can see how crap mine are

  • just gotta know your proportions i guess :\.

  • very nice, I'm working on a movie right now in Anim8or too, I have the same question ... how you made that explosion ? , good job.

  • the explosion was made using morph targets and transperancy maps placed on the surface of a sphere.

each transparency map was morphed to rotate as the sphere was enlarged.

  • Alright ! thank you !

  • I know this is late, but why didn't you just rotate and enlarge the sphere itself?

  • because the affect would be ruined once you saw that the explosion was just going through the ground. you see the same problem with many trans map based explosions in fps games.

  • Very nice, shows that anim8or does have a lot of potential! Me and a small team are working on a short probably about the same length but on a different theme, anyway nice work and keep it up :)!

  • Nice work realy well planed.

    "Really Cool"

  • clever.

  • lol "3 millimeters" This is awsome.

  • cool the better anim8or movie i had ever seem

  • Cool

  • very cool

  • not bad.

  • damn that was realy good dosnt evern look like anim8or models oh yea check my aniation i made in anim8or too.

  • This inspired me to make one of my own!

  • that was realy good with anim8or

  • this is one of the best pieces of animation ive seen with anim8or. gr8 job!! dont stop animating.

  • very good, its hard to make Really fluid animations in anim8or, but i think u wer able to do them very well :)

  • lol! i love the idea, bit the movement isnt so good in place ;)

  • awesome but just a little blochy, but good!

  • that was cool, i wihs i knew how to make 3d animation

  • that was pretty good

  • cool!
