I can't believe someone has put together my favorite artists of all time! I never thought of what they may have in common, other than the fact that they are both incredibly inspirational, beautiful, sincere and fantastic song-writers. Ofra had the voice, that's for sure; no one can compare. But (I can't resist) Shaki has the equally incomparable hips.

I have every album Ofra ever recorded and can only hope that Shakira has as many someday.

OK, just a question of scale. Wherever you put Shakira on a scale of 1 to 10 as a vocalist, most of today's pop-factory offerings are lower than 5, I reckon. I would put Ofra off the scale at 20.
