I don't understand the wording on pokemon cards such as the potion card, why can't it just say "Remove up to 2 damage counters from one Pokemon" then it wouldnt have to explain that if it only had one damage counter only remove 1 counter.. thumbs up if u agree

To make the defending (opponents) Pokemon go to sleep, you either have to use a move by one of your Pokemon such as Sleep Power used by Oddish and you have to flip a coin, if heads the defending Pokemon is now asleep or if you use a certain trainer, stadium, or supporter, you can use those to also make the opponents Pokemon go to sleep. Next turn the card making the top of it facing left. Your Pokemon cannot attack during your turn in between turns flip a coin, if heads it wakes up.

do you play fossilcards on the bench?

yeah they count the same as a regular basic pokemon, but they cannot attack or retreat. they just sit there until they are evolved or get knocked out. they have an HP of 10.

thats for the old fossil cards. The new ones have up to 40 HP and some even have pokebodies or pokepowers.

Do you mean the third set called the Fossil set of Pokemon cards, or the Mysterious Fossil cards which are from the Fossil set. If you are talking about the Mysterious Fossil cards, yes they can be played as Basic Pokemon cards on the bench, or as your active Pokemon. The thing is they cannot retreat or attack and only have 10 HP so if you wanted to put a Mysterious Fossil Trainer Card from your hand, I would suggest putting it on your bench first.

The newer fossil cards now have 50 hp which makes them alot easier to play

I know, I did some research on the current fossil cards and they do have up to 50 HP. In fact as you said, that would make the cards easier to play. I actually have Cranidos and Shieldon Pokemon Platinum cards but I don't have the Skull or Armor Fossil cards in order for me to use them in a game.
