  • the rocks also help the top layer from drying out...never let soil dry out ,,it alters the good bacteria that live in it ...mainly by killing them ..chlorine evaporates relatively easily if you let it sit for a day or two...pour water from my tap and let it sit in a bottle without a cap ...usually three days before use to water plants...if your town adds fluorine in your tap water or the bottle company to your bottle..it will not evaporate and will damage your plant in the long run

    cheers

  • Is water from the fridge okay?

  • tap water and a western-facing window have created a monster out of my Money Tree. My wife threatens to trim it all the time and I dont trust her to do it right. Troube is, Im worried that if I trim it, it will be lopsided. It has long since left its braids and the stalks are taking up a huge part of the living room. Is it safe to cut a whole stalk off at the base of the braid? Will it grow back in that spot?

  • @guitarmano8 i bought mine in Ikea for 2,99 €

  • Can you explain more on how to get the glued pebbles out of a pot?

  • @Moh4mmed4li For real i can't stand the rocks in mine.

  • Great info, my plant has taken off with the advice from this video. Makes sense, now I have a very happy money tree..!!

  • I think it was the other way around. South America got certain plants from the east.

  • @guitarmano8 trader joes

  • At 1:46 you say that the Lucky Bamboo (Dracaena Sanderiana) is “Native to South America”. It is true that the plant "grows" there as well as in Asia, however the "Origin” of the Lucky Bamboo is native to Cameroon in the tropical regions of Africa, where it grows in areas shaded by larger plants in high-moisture. East Asia culture adopted the Money Tree and Lucky Bamboo as symbols of good luck and fortune hence where the popularity originated.

  • Awsome video . I attatched a video of my nearly bought money tree. I was looking for tips on how to grow it. I don't know if it looks healthy and if I should pluck the leaves where I see brown spits on them as well as the ones that look wiltered and advice would be great. Or you can check my latest vid so you can see my money tree.

    Thanks

  • I have had my money tree for more then years they grow big but not to much

  • Very helpful video. I noticed green green isnt exactly the cheapest product out there and I didn't want to blow money on it. I was worried that miracle grow fertilizer would be too concentrated, you've settled my fears.
