salt creek is actually part of the city of dana point(i live here so i know)look at thomas guide if you think im wrong... this video is ok and shows how much energy there was in the water that day but it wasnt all that good at the 3 main breaks (middles,point and gravels)that day.i surfed heroins that day(north end of the beach and it was 8-10 ft and super hollow grinding barrels.the majority of this swell missed oc. there are no yellow stairs at this beach. big hill but no yellow.

It was really hard to paddle out becuase it was easy to get caught in the swell. But it was an awesome day i will never forget it.
