  • Thanks Antonella, just a bit of fun.

  • Great lyrics. You did the Jazzzz thing really good. voice and guitar. Talented.

Still a Hell of a funny song!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks very much.

  • hahahah!!!! Your wife must have loved to know how she's important in your life!!!lol:) As long as she makes you a good dinner and bring you the booze while you watch your football match... That's the spirit brother!!! Great blues, btw, Pete! A 5***** male song:)

  • Cheers Ruben, I'm amazed I haven't received any death threats lol.

  • Viva men! Wrong football, but beyond that I understand why mama did not like the lyrics nearly as much as me!

  • Well we will have to disagree on the football, thanks T.

  • Well, I've always believed that if you can't say something nice, you shouldn't say anything at all. That said, I can this much for this video: The Taylor sounds wonderful, and it's also very pretty. Oh, and the vocals are pretty good (maybe a little less reverb next time?). (Just a suggestion, of course.) ;)

  • God Molly, you sound like my mother lol. Just striking a small blow for the downtrodden sex.

The Taylor is nice and a real bargain (for over here). I agree about the reverb but it does hide my rotten old voice somewhat. Thanks my friend.

  • Now then, ive been miserable and ill for the past fortnight, then i heard this. Its cheered me up no end, im going to get the wife to listen to it when she's finished the washing up and ironing. :-)

    Well done mate.

  • Lol! Cheers for that.

  • i like

  • Thanks very much.

  • ha ha nice one pete keep the mangle in her place/ only joking mate

  • Cheers Clark, chance would be a fine thing lol.

  • Interesting song Pete.

My wife would beat me if i ever did one like this. "women's shite" you're killing me here :)

  • Oddly enough I've just finished clearing up broken crockery lol. Thanks Jack.

  • love it please more originals

    you got the knack

  • Thanks I appreciate that.

  • Just simply perfect my friend

  • Cheers James, thought I'd do something a bit tongue in cheek.

  • Hey Pete, love this song!! Not very happy with the lyrics, kinda sexist!! LOLL You do sound awesome!! This is a bluesy style from you that is really cool!! I don't understand why you always comment about your voice, I really like your sound!!

  • Lol, thanks Sherri no offence intended. I see all these originals being done and this is as close as I can get.

  • Yea, I understand, I haven't been really inspired to write a new one!! I like doing covers!! I just really think your voice was great in this one!! You already know I like your guitar playing!!

  • Do you know Sherri it was one of the things that first attracted my wife to me. Well the fact that I wasn't really playing guitar at the time lol.

  • absolutely wonderful sound!

    *****

    Pepi

  • Thanks Pepi, much apreciated.

  • Cheers Andy, long time no hear. How are the rods of New Zealand.

  • Great playing

  • Thank you both.

  • Ha Ha!! Pretty cool song buddy!!

  • Cheers John, appreciated.

  • Does the wife know about this one? LOL

  • Believe it or not she does.

  • Pete, Pete, Pete! Wonderful song for men hear. I feel liberated. I tried to listen to this earlier but it wouldn't play.

    ROTFLMAO! for sure.

  • Thanks BC, it is of course just an aspiration not based in reality lol.

  • Ah, but we can only dream. LOL It reminded me so much of the song "Put Another Log On The Fire".

  • Interesting lyrics Pete!!LOL! Never mind being quiet duing football - I have to stand on freezing terraces at away matches LOL!

  • Thank you Becky especially for being the first if not the last lady to stop by here lol. Who is that to watch your husband, son or local team? If your local team who are they if you don't mind me asking?

  • You 've got more chance of Elvis and Lord Lucan riding shergar round your back garden than finding a woman like that - but good luck!

  • I know, I'm just a poor blind idealist. But what kind of world would it be without hope.

  • Hilarious tune and well done. I don't think it's biographical for any of us, well not completely anyway.

  • Thanks David, a hair of truth maybe lol.

  • Sweeeet!!!!!!! Think I'll take a pass on having my wife see and hear this one. I thoroughly like the rhythm. Your camera gets such a clear shot as well. Another fine upload. Cheers Rodney W. Nashville

  • Thanks Rodney, oddly enough no ladies have commented on this yet lol.

  • LOL Has your misses heard this? Nice one.

  • Cheers, oddly enough she has.

  • LOL....Thats cool....guess i would have the blues if I didn't have someone bringing me a beer and sandwich....thanks

  • It would be downright inhuman. Thanks Darrel.

To be quiet during the football.' LOL !! Nice !!great tune Pete !!*****

  • Cheers Eddie, we've all been there I think.

  • Now that is funny! Well done!

  • Thanks Peter.

  • That was excellent! I love it. I recommend you play this on the next boys night out. As far as your loving wife, some things are better left unsaid! :-)

  • Cheers John, as for my wife she took it quite well. Only called me a chauvinist bastard once. She loves me really.
