I couldn't get the "first dance" scene out of my mind. The song is beautiful, both his and her feelings were real and I think Tommy was really beginning to see her for herself and fall in love with her. Sad sad ending....still makes me cry....sigh.

I was back in PI (1976) at Miramar theater (at Recto) with friends watching the movie--and the song was already a hit in Manila--and the song really etched itself in my head, there forever engraved and never to be forgotten; such is the impact of that song.
