It seems the game didn't realise your spell. Normaly if you use a spell to stop the thief you'll be thanked for helping to catch Harami but also reminded that it is forbidden to use magic in the steets of Tarna.
Check out the female liontaur on the right of the last screen. She's all, "Come get some of this, sezy man", and then you're all "Dude, I don't swing that way," and then she's like "What are you, gay?" and then she adds "Not that there's anything wrong with that, in fact I fully respect the gays and some of my best friends are gay", and then you go "No, I just don't do lions lol"
To purchase anything either click the mouth on yourself or the money pouch on the merchant. neither will work however until after you have exchanged your money for the local equivalence.
"Zaituni" means olive, and the man sells olive oil.
Never noticed that before.
