  • Also, this is definetly not Baptist LifeFlight. The only EC-135 left of theirs os Pensacola Fl. and it looks nothing like this.

  • This is Baptist Life flights helicopter based out of Green Cove Springs. It's actually a Life Net helicopter that works through Baptist Downtown Jacksonville

  • This is a LifeNet aircraft, operated by Air Methods Corperation. Babtis LifeFlight, formerly operated by CJ systems, was acquired by Air Methods some time ago. Air Methods is the largest EMS operator in the world. I used to fly LifeNet 27 out of Ft. Walton Beach/Niceville. Also, the LZ is controlled by the ground crew, comprised of Firefighters and polic agencies. Many times, idiots walk right up to the aircraft while turning. Enjoy the fenestron hum!

  • well, Im sorry. i didnt know this was a baptis life flight. We have a different baptist life flight in pensacola and they have three brds. One in Pensacola and the others ar e operated by PHI air medical whih are in Mobile and evergreen Al. The pensacola Bird is operated by Air methods as is Gulf coast Medevac 1 out of mobile.

  • Awesome, all ems helicopters should be this cool.

  • That is not Baptist Lifeflight!!!! That is GULFLight 1 a Life Net program!!!!

  • I realize it is Life Net Stationed out of Green Cove Springs Florida. I was Simpy saying that is the main hospital it services!!!!!

  • well simply because it looks like it is right over the road but in real life it is not. I live across the street and it is actually about 20 feet away from the road. there is a ditch that you cant see between the road and the parking lot.

  • Those nuts got lucky no bus or truck passed by during takeoff ! Why did police ( which seems to be at the spot ) not close the road ? If a big and fast truck would have passed at the right time at the wrong side of the road the heli would have crashed like a little toyplane....

  • I AGREE......where i am from, if we are landing Lifeflight or MedEvac on the interstate, we shut down BOTH sides. even though we have a good size median. we always shut down surrounding traffic. NEVER would this fly for Baptist LifeFlight 1,2, or 3 or Gulf Coast MedEvac 1

  • Go check out the other Baptist LifeFlight video of Saraland Fire. They handle their LZ setup like we do. NO TRAFFIC EITHER DIRECTION.

  • Well, we don't need to shut down both sides. Just ties up traffic unnecessarily if it is a four lane. However, the traffic is required to slow down.
