do they macdonalds and internet and u know stuff to do?? i am so curious to know what its like! do they have clubs? gyms?... all the videos show snow and nature, we all know its cold and it has a beautiful enviroment but no one films everyday life, restaraunts, and what the people do everyday!

Well, we only went to a village that had 300 people, there was... a 'supermarket' (a small store), a school and a church. So they spend most of their time earning a living, at the airport, hunting seals and polar bears or fishing. And for fun? Mostly getting drunk. A lot of people get really drunk a lot. No 'clubs', just a kind of dance hall. I can't say what it's like in the capital or larger towns, but I think Kulusuk is pretty typical. And there is only 1 traffic light in the whole country.

Amazing place, certainly on my to do list, just wish Air Greenland were'nt so expensive. Did you guys fly by Flugfélag Íslands from Reykjavík?

Yep, but we booked the trip with this random lecturer at the University of Iceland (we were all students there at the time on exchange) that owns a hut in Kulusuk so it was uber-cheap compared to a normal tourist package at peak season :)
