I cannot believe after listening to Brian Jonestown Massacre every single day for the past 2 years that ive only just discovered this song. Yet again i am blown away.
This is seriously the prettiest song I've ever heard in my entire life. I can't stop listening to this. I wish I could find the lyrics so I could sing along..
This is still one of the most infectiously sweet songs I've ever heard...it's also one of the songs that first got me hooked. I was 14 when I picked up this album, and it has been on play ever since.
@antonfjordson Your absolutely right! that is because ANALOG has the FULL SIGNAL and CD's only have partial signal and that signal is digital. The only downside is that records only sound better then cd's for a limited amount of plays, then dust destroys the quality, I wish someone would make a small cd sized record that is housed in a small container and you insert the container into the device then it's opened in a dust free environment. So the quality would stay for a lot longer.
That's so true. I'm happy I've got several of your coloured heavy vinyl records - esp. my favourite album, Their Satanic..., white-yellow, sounds just brilliant on a good hifi setup. What a joy!
no problem...i just want people to post these on facebook etc...get this stuff out in the blogs...its kind of depressing all the people every week that contact me and say they only just found out about 20 year old songs right?no...it's actually quite nice...better late than never.
Agreed - it's funny, I have had this record a long time at this point, and it still gets spun all the time... and I am constantly surprised how many people there are who haven't heard it...
I know - it's amazing to me how many people are just missing the fuck out... Methodrone is one of those records that when I play it for folks they all seem to have this moment of "I just found my new favorite band"... thanks so much for continuing on man. :)
Im sharing your music.Cant say all the individuals are interesting though! But my 15 year old son loves your art. He will be with me at your show in Birmingham in May.
There is not one song of the BJM that I don't like. This is lovely.:)
