there is no way that homles catch is a better catch than David Tyree's. Yes, holmes was a spectacular toe-taping game winning TD.But Its was the circumstances that made it great. There are toe-tapping catches like that in almost every NFL game played. But David Tyree's catch was way better, in traffic,ball pinned against the helmet with rondney harrison trying to rip ur arm apart. Dont see that kind of play very often (and it was a important 3rd down catch,too)

in terms of importance, yea, Holmes' catch is more important (and a tough catch to make) but Tyree's catch was more spectacular and a tougher catch to make.

o and for the sake of unnecessary argument. Maybe Plax's catch was the best, because his catch won the superbowl against a team that was previously undefeated. hows that??

00:18 is super bowl 42, david tyree of NYG making that miraculous catch that eli manning was able to fire 32 yards down field after escaping nearly being sacked and pretty much guaranteeing a win. Greatest super bowl I've ever seen. Awesome commercial too.
