Notice how they fly the helecopter backwards? this is because they are not trained to be able to fly in towards themselves as the controls are reversed.

Instead they simply fly backwards.

This is one of several models of radio-controlled helicopters built by Yanmar. Along with radio control, Yanmar helicopters are capable of fully autonomous flight with collision avoidance at speeds of up to 20kt using GPS, radar and inertial guidance. The AYH-3 is an agricultural spraying helicopter based on the YH-400. Too bad Yanmar no longer makes RC helicopters.

My God does that ever rock! Very precise flying as well, hell of a lot cheaper than a real chopper. For all the people with dumb comments I am sure this is very practical for where they are and the size of crops they are spraying.

A very purpose built machine indeed and i am sure they get paid well for it.

@BlitzKdotCOM Did you know that it takes well over $1,000.00 for a pilot just to show up with his helicopter. In addition, that is not calculating the fuel expenses. That is an extra cost. This is a lot more economical and easier on the wallet r some old farmer. Well worth it if you ask me.

当時のＲＣヘリは飛ばすのが、もの凄く難しかったけど、今はずい­ぶん簡単になりました。

今、２０ｃｃのロータリーエンジンでやっている人は８.５㎏も荷­物を積んでいるそうです。
