I saw these guys a long, long time ago. One of the first live bands I'd ever seen. They were phenomenal! Just one word ... TIGHT! Love this stuff.

Love it. Shame so many members have come and gone, when we think EWF we only think about Maurice, Phil Bailey and the bassist. I would love to know who every single member was.

Theres an incredible concert they did in 1980/81 which is on youtube, they had a hispanic looking fella on lead guitar and a Prince lookalike on keys. That is their classic lineup to me.

I don't "dislike" the performance...but the lead-singer makes them sound like a cover-band. He doesn't sing with the enthusiam Maurice White sang with.

these are the bands that deserve recognition...for the music....and they stay together for 30 yrs to keep their music going... everyone else splits cause of money or think they're not getting the fame and form or go to other bands...here its all about the music..
