This movie may not win any awards but that does not mean it isn't well-made. The cinematography/direction is fantastic with its pop-culture overload and it is well-complimented with Mike Patton's film score. Tune out for 1 1/2 hours and you'll realize this was a fun, self-aware exercise in excess that shits on those over-hyped Bruckheimer productions. This was one big joke and it made total sense that Maynard made a cameo (amongst many others).
