ahah someone replied...yea i know what you mean..id like ccp to upgrade the viduals a little motion blur, depth off field, dx10 effects would be nice to see...some of us to have ....good computers..and i wanna see space in all its glory!
o7 haha. Yeah, it would probably fail a bit in a battle but people can easily lower graphics if they're going to pew pew anyways.CCP like taking their time doing things :(
I'd be tempted to use a mask and apply a lens blur to it, and then feather it out and adjust the mask shape to match the ship.
Doing depth of field effects for works better when the shot has a close object at the screen edge and you are altering the depth of field between the close object and the background objects or scenery.
Try an exterior shot, pull the camera back, then zoom on the ship - setup an angle which has the ship close and the station, for example, as the back drop.
Also one more thnkg...encoding,....teh quality never comes out as good as teh original fraps footage...how should i fix this?...do i have to decompress fraps first if so with what also....ive uses so many codecs dont know which is the best one.
This is a bit extreme but EVE does need some depth of field, the planets always look terrible.
