Well i have a 93 accord with the stock trans 1st goes to 35 2nd- 60, 3rd-90, 4th-120, and 5th unknown. So i would say that the accord gears are long.

Anyways, to those that were interested, the tails were red/clears for a 90-91 coupe and the cams are crower stage2's with matching valvesprings and retainers. The accord made 195whp with a shitty dc header. But I sold it shortly after this video was taken. There were two attempts on thievery, so I had to let it go.

right now i have a 2000 accord vtec jdmd out, SICK, but for the last month i been looking for a 90-93 coupe to throw in g23 hybird in it, if u don't know what that is its a f23 block with k20a pistons and a h22a vtec head and skunk2 cams u pull out 254hp 11.1 and 210 torque, i got the head and the h23 tranny but can find the car cheap enough for my buget but soon i hope the g23 vtec over powers the k24 from the tsx its the new beast

some people must have missed this, but BOTH cars are mine. i was driving the tl-s and a friend was driving my accord. the accord was most definetly faster. the tl, at the time, was bone stock... not even an intake under the hood. the accord was making 195WHP... meaning the car would be rated around 230hp, where as the tl is rated at 260hp. the tl is alot heavier and its an auto. so it is not BS. if you do roll up next to an accord or anything with a mild h22, be prepared to lose.

not really, the g23 fits perfect they based the k20block from the f23 block everything is the same kept for displacement the pistons go in smooth, and the only think i got to fab is one of the hose line connector thats it, and i got to use the h22 water pump with f23 internals h22 ecu the h22a head fits perfect the only performance parts im using is skunk 2 cams and stage 3 clutch im getting 11.1 compression and 246 HP go read about it
