I'll never understand the 5.9's for this....what more technically do they want? And the 5.7 for artistry is just pathetic......and the 2nd place ordinal......I agree with the commentators! Really is the greatest pairs performance ever!!!.......even beating the amazing Gordeava and Grinkov imo.......
I can't believe how they were able to, so effortlessly, compete under both scoring systems... winning world championships under both the 6.0 and COP. And then to have 3 Olympics medals, one gold, is phenomenal. Given their record, they must be considered one of the greatest pairs of all time.
Well, I must say I was as much in awe as Chris and Simon were, for it was something extraordinary indeed. It held me throughout the whole routine and had a brilliant quality, both technically,and also artistically.
