@BornEnLighTeneD not for profit groups still have to pay for actors and any employee. Not for profit simply means they are based in government grant funding, tax dollars, and private funding. Almost every theatre in america is a non profit... and they pay out the ass for actors sometimes. Also, 501(c)(3) groups can turn a profit, it's just not their primary goal, as stated in their mission statements. Keep in mind how many sesame street toys you see in stores-- All for a not for profit group.
