  • I can only do like 2 regular wide grip pull ups/:

but, i can do 20 chin ups....

  • Like the variations new things I have never thought of

  • Thanks for this vid, got some new ideas for a bit more variation now :)

  • excellent :))

  • thanks for the nice video

  • @skaterkid154 thanks for checking it out and taking the time to comment!

  • I plan to do 10 to 20 pull ups 3 times every morning, each day I will change the type of pull ups, what do you think of this? I have a iron gym that can be used on the door.

  • Pull up my bad lol

  • That clapping push up is beast lol

  • outstanding.....

  • Push up pull-ups. Incredble. Makes me feel so weak

  • Now how the f*** Is he clapping

  • The push up pull ups looks absolutely insane!

  • where the fuck am i going to get a bowling ball with a bar stuck through it?

  • The triangle pull ups must be great for the latissimi width. I'm gonna try them today. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • When doing pullups, do you lock your elbows?

  • for that big guys bodyweight thats impressive strength to weight ratio

  • Good shit thanks fellas !!!

  • That big fella is HELLA strong!

  • Great video !!!!! and i have to agree with adrian061385 and say that i have never seen so many different pullup bars in one place in my life(which is a good thing). Great idea with those different variations , but i think the last 4 were just made up on the spot lol. Keep up the good work

  • i can do all of them really easy except for the push up pull ups....im probably just doin it wrong....but u forgot the hardest one of all.....MUSCLE UPS!! i can get like 5 straight...one of the hardest body weight excersizes i know of

  • Dang... didn't think that clapping pull up was possible!

  • You people may know the types, but lack the doing of them.

Much like knowing diseases but not knowing how to cure/treat them.

I'm 13, weigh 203lbs of solid, drug free strength, not even protein shakes, and I can max out at 78 pull ups in a row from dead hang using no momentum and perfect from!

  • @AndyHarglesis Sounds impressive... should post some vids of it.

  • @AndyHarglesis : good ,,but howww,

  • @AndyHarglesis BULLSHIT, gotta love it though.

  • @AndyHarglesis lol put up a video Andy , im sure half the youtube wants to see ... hehe your comments are hilarious

  • @AndyHarglesis

Ok well tough guy, post a video of how to do them correct. I honestly doubt you will though, at 13 with that weight, you probably are just a out of shape " C team" nose guard in highschool.

  • @AndyHarglesis <---- 13andincrediblycut strikes again.

  • @AndyHarglesis what is perfect from lol!

  • Push Up Pull ups look awesome!

  • How many reps and sets should i do? My maximum rep is 10 reps. Thanks.

  • good work lads every cradit

  • fuck this im 14 and ima start working out

  • damn your strong for a big man! keep it up.

  • this is perfetic

  • I can't even do one pull up

  • imagine them racing a wheelchair!

  • awesome grip strengh on the guy with green shirt.

Tried the clapping pull ups and fell right on my ass

  • great video! many variations that ive never seen! but one question... the lat muscles are also part of the lower portion of the back right? because i really want to build up my lower back as well as burn some of the fat down there later on

  • Thsi question may have already been asked. I'm trying to improve my pull ups. On a standard pull up, how do you keep yourself from swinging? That is something that always happens to me and I lose time and energy. Also, I've been told that when you try to max out on one set, you're supposed to go as fast as possible. Is this true for you?

  • I did a pull up once, but then i fell.

  • which doin pull ups thumb under or over bar

  • @phoLegit under.

  • @jhashey oops i meant which is more better for development of lats? thumbs over or under

or can you incorporate both variations in a back workout, thanks!

  • thats what i call creativity! thats the type of environment iwant!

  • I can do five supported one-arm chin ups! ;) And at UPS, sometimes we do climbing pull-ups on the stairs just for fun!

  • Dang. I'm gonna buy a Stihl chainsaw!

  • I like the big ball grip, I wish I had one of those

  • clap pull ups?? that seems impossible.

  • Comment removed

  • i will work until i can do those push up pull ups

  • i can only do the standard chin up but i cant do any stanard pull up????

    does anybody know why??

and what ca i do to do them

  • wow...Good stuff !

  • definitely going to incorporate those climbing pull-ups. good sh.t guys

  • Inspiring! Wish I had all those bars lol

  • i find it hard for me to do pull up..do you have any tips for me to train for it??

  • @atthemund I used to have the same problem, if you're in the gym use the pulldown machines untill you're strong enough to perform a pull up. Or you can have your friend aiding you in performing a pull up by helping you up the bar and you go down the bar slowly.

  • wats the name of the song!

  • the best shit ever!!!!!!!!!!!

  • at !:30 id laugh my ass off if the dumbell just broke, anyways good vid!

  • Nice variations

  • You guys know your shit!!! This is an awesome vid hope you guys put out more!

  • THAT'S AWESOME - LOVE THE CLAPPING ONES

  • Really innovative, would never think up this stuff... not sure how to make any of it though =(

  • The guy with the STIHL t shirt is not from this planet. A lot of this stuff doesn't seem all that important though. Although I will try the push up pull ups and one arm chins. Those two I was most impressed with. Cool stuff for sure. Thx for the vid.

  • Nice video, great tips! Thanks for sharing.

  • The clapping pull ups look HARD

  • All great stuff! Love the bar set-ups you have going on - brilliant! Train hard - cheers!

  • Dang dude, those clap pullups are insane.

  • I did 15 chin ups and I'm 13, 101 pounds.

  • The Push Up Pull Ups are the most impressive to me.

  • ha, I was just looking for side-to-side pull ups. Some of these variations are insane

  • Hey, for the bigger guy in the gray shirt, what logo is that on your shirt? That wouldn't happen to be a Saskatchewan Service Corps shirt is it?

  • some of these hit the same thing..i guess if you want to do something different for the same thing then hey - looks like fun

  • GOOD SHIT!.HAHAHA!.IVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY DIFFERENT PULL UP BARS IN A BASEMENT...ANYWAY IM AN AMATEUR BOXER AND I ALWAYS INCLUDE PULL UPS IN MY TRAINING PROGRAM...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

  • @adrian061385 thanks!

  • @adrian061385 keep up the all caps! and it's awesome to have pull ups in your training program. that isn't sarcasm.

  • sets and reps?

  • good video lads..i do chinups all the time and this video has givn me ideas

  • @hunterdwhitley1993 I just did pull ups using the machines, (had to start at 110LBs) and I did 5x5, I couldn't even do 1 body weight pull up. I worked up to 160 5x5, went up 10 LBS a week and now I can do 5 x 5 using my body weight on the normal pull up bar, going to add a rep to each set until I can do like 8 x 4 then start adding weight. Cheers

  • i can do 30 one "handed" chin ups at 200 bw and no im not full of shit i just did them two days ago before my rest

  • fucking sweet im starting these now. Can i do these every day? Would i just be working out my back or arms too?

  • @utubesacks We usually do pull/chin variations twice a week because they will be getting the full arm and back! Thanks for the comment.

  • Great video guys. 5*

  • que bueno es hacer pull up..

buen vídeo y muchos saludos desde Chile

  • A great resource, some very nice ideas in there, thanks!

  • @iforwms thanks for the comment!

  • So I take it you find no use for kips?

  • Hey, i just wanted to include it would have been cool to see lateral pullups, which are perhaps the most difficult, where you find a pole going straight up, like a firemans pole, grab on to it, and do pullups with your body sticking straight out. the point is to do it with your body rigid, and to not curl up in the fetal position. Its extremely difficult! and a great personal challenge.

  • Nice vid.

  • wow great video!

i need to try those rope pull ups

  • u have strong wrists

  • Take the most natural upper body movement, develop variations on the movement, result: a whole new way to improve oneselft. Excellent work!

  • thank you very much!

    - Joe

  • Great video... Thanks for some new ideas!

  • i got some great ideas from this video (rope pullups, wobble hex...) thanks for posting!

  • Great job Joe. Pullups and their variations are addictive. You've inspired me to go crank some out. Keep up the great work. ~ David

  • hey will i was wandering what muscles do you work wehn you do the different pull up variations. Thank you.

  • depends on which variaiton you use. Some help support the pulling motion - others incorporate grip, core, shoulders, etc. Each one has a different purpose. I hope that helps!

    Joe

  • nice.

    but no clapping pull ups?

  • thanks - clapping pull ups was the second on in the video.

  • Holy shit!!! is all i have to say. Mad props bro

  • Very good pullups for such a big man Joe!! they are not easy for you big cats!! awesome video!

  • Terence - Thanks brother! I just got past 1000 subscribers so I will get part II out very shortly!

    Joe

  • Great compliation of Pullups!!!! Most Excellent.

  • Good

  • heh.. do you only train your arms on this stuffs? and how can i train me up to do 10 pullups?

  • Thanks Joe get way to mix it up cant wait to try!!!

  • Joe, how about posting a video of you doing 2 or 3 chinups/pullups with 44 lb extra? That'd be great ti see for someone with your bw.

  • sure, Ill include it in a full workout video and shoot it shortly.

  • Joe, the fact that you did 3 strict ones at 280 lb is even better! Have you ever tried to max out for one rep--in other words tie some extra weight on--perhaps a 20 lb plate?

  • Thanks! We do 2 or 3 RM. Somewhere around a 44 lb KB is good for me when it comes to that.

    Joe

  • Great vid, 5 stars. I only just found this but I am building similar things in my home gym! Keep em comin!

  • I believe so. Thanks.

  • for the plate pullups what did you use to anchor the plate? Nice video.

  • Thanks! All the "hanging" things variations an be done on a power rack and a short length of chain. The plate is on a chain with an oversized caribiner hooked below it so it can't fit through the hole. Know what I mean? If not Ill take a picture.

    Joe

  • What's the weight of the big guy doing the pullups? Don't know his name. Great form for both of you. It's nice to see pullups and chinups done correctly.

  • Thanks, that's me "jhashey" (Joe) 280 lbs (at 6 ft 5) in the video but currently cutting down with more winter conditioning.

    Thanks for the comment!

    Joe

  • great vid

    inspiring

  • Thanks!

  • Enjoyed the video. Makes me wish I was young man again!

  • Joe,

Awesome video-can't wait to see the rest of them!!

  • thanks Jerry! They are already video'd, just holding them hostage until I reach my 1000 subscriber goal! (I know, selfish!)

Thanks to everyone that watched and gave all the 5/5 ratings already!

    Joe
