This brings back a lot of memories. I got this game in a bargain bin when I was a teenager. It was a really interesting game, but I felt a bit ripped off when it abruptly ended, and basically stated that you had to grab the sequel to finish the story, which I couldn't get my hands on.
This game was one of the first in the PC CD-ROM series. Hardly any game play, mostly glued together cinematic sequences. This brings back awesome memories! Thanks for uploading! Also, can someone please explain the conspiracy theory? Was it that the space ships were just VR machines?
Heh, played this on my very first PC. Thought it was an excellent game for its time. Also had to play the second Quantum Gate (Vortex) when it came out. Damn, this certainly brings back memories.
The year I first played this was 1994 as a teenager on my 66MHZ DX2 LEADING EDGE PC - FORTIVA. God, everything seemed so sweet back then and I had so much hope, it seemed magical.
LOL!! I had you beat. I had an overdrive chip. But yea, it did seem sweet back then. For some reason I just decided to look for old games and landed here. Guess Ill hit up Critical Path next.

I thought 'NO ONE DREAMS HERE' meant nobody dreams while sleeping. I now realize it probably meant nobody had any higher ideals or hopes.
I was so naive back at that time when I was age 16 or so.

Wow, this game takes me way the hell back, I was just a kid when played this. It sure seems corny now, but it was amazing back then.

the one quote I remember from this was
"Do you know what KP duty means?
Keep Peeling!"

My neighbor lent this to my brother and I to play on our old Packard Bell, back when they were still sold in the Us. Pretty graphic for our age.
