  • The Stones became the greatest rock band in the world the day Mick T joined. The Stones ceased to be the greatest rock band in the world the day Mick T left.

  • My dad saw the Stones Nov. 26,1969 in Baltimore. He was 14. Dad's always been a fan and I've always liked most of the Stones's work. After listening to many guitarists and styles I still come back to Taylor's approach as being my favorite. Bloomfield is killer with jazz inflection. J. Page is too. Clapton used to b raw emotion, but now is over the top emotional playing, though his singing is strong. Winter is too repetitive sometimes. Taylor plays jazzy blues that is fresh and happy. God bless.

  • @cameltooth1 Thanks for the lovely enthusiastic comments, Mick is always working to improve his playing, this was an exceptional evening. When Mick is relaxed and in the mood to play enjoying every note this is what it's like! I often think back to the Stones shows where he calmly stood back and reeled off all those amazing solo's and wonder what all that energy he has now would have added. Stephen Dale Petit's band work really well with Mick, the two lead guitars a great formula.

  • Mick Taylor is awesome in this recording and every recording I've ever heard him on. I'm a big fan and have always heard his playing, but only until listening to Ya Ya's by myself at 18 years old, did I really become a devotee of this music and sound. Mick is the real deal. He is the best blues player to my ears because he doesn't go for flashy or predictable. Good band and Taylor's vocals are great. My channel has video of me playing guitar. I'm 24 and love Stones,Cream, Hendrix, Zeppelin, etc.
