@drew42322 When you use variations, pick more yellow and lighter and it will turn more blonde. Also, there is a link in the video to a newer video with another technique for changing hair color.

@johnnybeckmann Thanks for visiting. The lighter the hair the harder it is to add highlights in Photoshop. Visit my channel and I have a video on adding just colored highlights to hair. @hachlak You have to make sure the hair is selected before adjusting the hue. You should have marching ants on the screen. Let me know.

@hachlak Do you still have the mask on? This is when it looks like the picture has some pink in it. If you do, on the left side under the long box of tools is an icon that looks like a box with a circle in it. Click that and the pink should go away and there should be some marching ants.

@cautionMCRfan I just made a tutorial on how to change hair color in Photoshop Elements. For most people Elements does everything you might want to do to a photo. I noticed today that Elements 8 has color variations so I will do a second video on how to change hair color in Elements.

Thanks. I am using many of these for classes I teach and try to use many of the tools. Sometimes the methods are not the most efficient but the students are able to learn more Photoshop functions.

I love animal fruit morphs. I've seen them before but have never tried to do them. It would be great if you made a video. Maybe something like an elephant walnut ;)
