I've seen Possums...they look best when seen in their natural habitat...flipping down the Georgia highway behind my car after having their asses run over...disgusting things, worse than rats because they BIGGER but still rodent-y and mean as snakes! I live in Georgia (that's the south--USA) and I cannot even fathom having one of those vile creatures as a pet let alone have its disease ridden body next to my kid! @PattiL007 Opossums don't actually carry diseases and are pretty clean in general. They're also not mean - they pretend to be dead instead of initiating a fight. The only time one would be mean is if it's a female with babies, but that's true with every animal on Earth. I hope you aren't as judgemental and uneducated about everything else in the world. :)
