  • It's so moving but that doesn't justify the war.

  • Visted from the UK 4 years ago it was very poingant ,God bless you all.

  • Even close-up observers would only notice many small explosions occurring daily in the waters of the South China Sea and thought it was only part of the 'war.' The U.S. Navy carriers had begun Operation Linebacker One, and Standard Oil had begun its ten year oil survey of the seabed off of Vietnam. And the Vietnamese, Chinese and everybody else around, including the Americans, were none the wiser. The oil survey hardly cost Standard Oil a nickel, the U.S. taxpayers paid for it.

  • @dardingz Get the fuck out of here you stupid ass conspiracy theorist.

  • About 80 percent of the armaments and supplies for the Vietnamese War came from the Soviet Union. Yet a key part of President Johnson policy was the transfer of technology to the USSR which aids Soviet war potential.

This is the main reason why these ’noble’ families are behind most, if not all, of the wrong-headed pro-environmental movements of the world that ultimately and covertly (of course) aim to curb population growth.

  • In 1967, the "population officer's" task force was transformed into a permanent "Office of Population Affairs" with the US State Department with the sole statutory obligation to study, experiment, promote and undertake policy-reviews with the object of reducing the number of people living in the world. The people who established Communism and took over Russia and later Eastern Europe, China and Cuba, who established Nazism and later took over Western Europe, now control the United States:

  • My God people, thank a vet or active serviceperson. WE NEED PATRIOTS! God help my sacred America. and thank you whom uploaded this video. Sincerely, Doug from NC

  • @Karrowt Well, so your saying that even though you didnt fight, that you have the balls to talk as though you have fought, and the vietnam war was not a LOSS.

  • The real heroes were the draft dodgers. That had the balls to tell the corrupt government to fuck off.

They lived. You idiots have to know you were lied to, right? Gulf of Tonkin was a complete lie, and your dumb ass fell for it. Hook, line and sinker.

They got rich - you lost a leg. Good deal, I can't help but laugh.

  • @FLICKPatriotism How were some people who didnt have the guts to fight for america HEROS. your not a hero, your dads not a hero, and your dads dads not a hero either. So how can someone thats NOT a hero, tell someone who IS a hero that they ARENT a hero.

  • @DCameron280

...you're... Nice way to bastardize English.

My dad was an officer in the Army during the draft days - in Germany. My grandfather actually fought in WW1 against the US - certainly a hero.

As for Vietnam? It was a completely useless war. Uncle Ho wasn't a threat to the US.

  • Hi,nice to meet you. My grandmother is a american veteran in 1960 ,he was a sheriff ( tổng ti cảnh sát ),now he is 80 years old;but he still live in vietnam (because he can't immigrate to USA though he very want to do that . Does he will has many support from American government ?

  • It's a shame. Over 58,000 names are on that wall. My granddad was an NVA who took part on April 30, 1975. I like America. Just a shame to see that many names. Hopefully America and Vietnam can have good relations.

I watch lots of documentaries and watch archived war footage; I'v seen a few of the horrors of vietnam and ww2.

and actually had to stop the archive tapes of holocaust.

Just want to say, there are young people all over(not just in the army) that appreciate what you did.

Did they force the draft on American citizens back then? I keep hearing yes they did do forced conscription but none of them ever fought on the front lines?

You have all of my respect.

  • yes they had the draft back then, and no, they most certainly did fight on the front lines. we should have never gotten involved in vietnam, but politics is not what this video is about I am sure. honor the fallen, and all who have served.
