I seen the largest Black Bear I have ever seen in person on the Hatfield and McCoy trails, on Bear Wallow Trail Head, Dingess Rum Trail System, I seen lots of different size bear tracks,and sign of several different Bears, but I seen one real big one,up close,and personal,it wouldn't get off the trail,it wasn't started by me,It eventually walked off the trail,the ridge of it's back was almost eye level, maybe at my chin,I am about 5'8,it was a very big black bear,it probably weighed 400lb-600lbs
