Can you tell me how you recorded the Guitar?

Did you use Guitar-Rig or similar software; did you use your Amp connected to the PC to get that sound; did you just record your Amp with a Mic that was connected to the PC?

I personally use Guitar Rig 2 and my Guitar sound sucks, thats why this question is so important to me ^^ Just like feedar said this sounds like Immortal. Great Qualitiy btw.

@MetalMonsi I have an old POD 2.0 that I plug directly into my computer. I've never used guitar rig 2 or any sort of software for my computer, but I've always wanted to try AxeFX or something similar. For now, the POD is working great. I love the way the tone sounds.

@metalanarchist465 My machine is getting up there in years, so it's not the greatest when it comes to speed. I'm thinking before too long, I'll get a better mobo and processor. I'll grab some better RAM while I'm at it, and some other video cards for the entertainment.

I have some issues with syncing due to my machine. I usually pull the track back by either a 32nd or 64th note, and that does the trick, but not always.

@metalanarchist465 Acoustica Mixcraft. It was Cheap ... Haha, maybe a little too cheap. Normally it's ok, but lately its been awful. Can't get anything to sync up lately. Anything long that is. Short clips have no problem.

@RedJesper I heard Reaper is good and very good actually. It`s free too. Google for Reaper DAW and get it. Your latency can be fixed even on that machine. Other than that you can try warping the guitar to get the transients in time(that is if that needs to be done). I use Pro Tools, Cubase and Ableton(one at a time ofcourse). :) \m/

@RedJesper Naw dude, don't bother with upgrades if it's too old, in the long run you will spend more on a weaker macine, spend 500 dollers on a good machine that can run even the best video games

@temptstress666 I'm working up to save the cash for a whole new machine. Going to make sure it's rather top of the line, so I need a lot of money, haha. No i7 or anything like that, but it's still going to be pretty crazy. Can't spend $800 on a CPU and expect to have any more cash left. The only things that would carry over from this machine are probably the PSU, and the case.

The drums were made with Toontrack's ezdrummer, with the Drumkit from hell expansion (wonderfully sampled by Thomas Haake), the rest of the recording was done in acoustica Mixcraft, and all of the synth stuff was made in guitar pro, exported as a MIDI file, and imported to Mixcraft for editing.
