Also, if you were at a birthday party and they were opening a present and you were face timing, it would be neat to show them what you were seeing. Hope this helped.

I'm probably just really missing something here...but...can't you just turn the ipad around to make the one camera do both things?....I'm trying to work out a situation when I need to use both cameras at the same time..... *thinks*....ummm so someone wouldn't need to see my face AND something i wanted to show them...ummm..and surely, if there's one cam it would be the best resolution one that can then downgrade depending on the use type....
