  • Actually heard this on music choice and fell in love

  • arghhhhh :')

  • Some years back a friend turned me on to this album I was completely blown away by it including the story. I mostly listen to instrumentals, movie scores and the like and have many, but this is the only one even including regular music that I have where "Every single song is absolutely incredible". Usually I'm lucky if I like 5 songs on one album. This is a rare jewel and always will be for me.

  • @CIVIC170 - Same here I like mostly instrumentals; glad we have the option of buying mp3s instead of the whole album. Here's other CDs w/more than 3, 4 & 5 good tracks. All of "Liquid Mind" music, "Wind Songs" CD by Michael Hoppe & Tim Wheater (had it uploaded but turned CR & had to delete that & 20 other vids), Zeus Farber's "Below" CD; All of Bernward Koch's music; "Aeoliah" music; Constance Demby's music; Chris Phillips "7 Wonders of the World" CD, David Wahler. I'm out of typing space.

  • I first heard this music on the NPR program The Thistle and Shamrock narated by Fiona Richie, i loved it ever since, and had to have it,so i bought the narrated version. The story is wonderful yet sad, very stiring music and storytelling. I have been meaning to get the strait music version of it , but have not gotten around to it, i love the music

  • I'm thankful to have discovered this on Music Choice. :)

  • from the shores of Loch Etive I absolutely enjoyed this tune

  • @glenlight - I love this tune as well and might make another video for it. Blessings from our shores to the Emerald Isle.

  • Any idea where I can get the CD in Belgium?

    Greets

    Florian

  • @Floske1880 - have you tried Amazon Florian? They sell the album or you can buy the single mp3 for 99 cents. Would you let me if you can? It's one of the best CDs because every song is terrific and not all have been uploaded on youtube yet. Thank you for watching & comment.

  • @Aetopus - Thanks for your comment. I'm probably going to buy it from Amazon now but I'm trying to get the original case and CD. To bad the world isn't craving for such splendid music.

  • This is a truly magical experience to listen to this song

  • This haunts my soul!

  • @switchest26 - I know what you mean. I only wish 2 things; that I had made a better video for this and a longer version of this song. Check out my sister's channel & find 2 videos there: "The Drowning Plains" and "Land of Gold." Both sound nearly this same as this. AquarielCharm channel.

  • @Aetopus Thank you! :-)

  • Beautiful

  • So beautiful. Absolutely wonderful. Thank-you for blessing us with such an amazing creation. Peace-n-Love to you always. And what a nice add with Sir Anthony Hopkins included. I LOVE icing on the cake! :-)

  • This is the perfect soundtrack. We now need a movie!

  • Do you think you'll be able to upload this CD somewhere where I can download it? That would be very cool, I love this kind of music. : )

  • Lovely songs!

  • Best song on the CD - Sons of Eisnach - AMAZING pipe work, one of the most haunting songs I've ever heard.

  • Oh boy, that would be a hard call for me to make. Every piece on the CD is amazing, so I don't think I could decided which one is best. Each one evokes different moods, emotions, or memories. I love how the Lament melody is entwined in this particular track, though.

  • Oh you are so right....when I heard this song I couldn't stop listening to it, absolutely haunting but so gorgeous.

  • I have not listened to Turlough O'Carolan yet something tells me I would enjoy it, if I did. I'll search youtube, thank you.

  • I have the mp3 if you want me to send it (free of course) ;-)

  • Those 2 had a Celtic soul for sure! Beautiful !!!

I went to Ireland in 2003, can't wait to go back, tis a magical place.

Thanks so much for posting , I didn't know about this CD :-D

  • Hello Teena - I have never been to Ireland and yet I love the Celtic sounds and the people - they are the salt and soul of the earth.

  • A beautiful music. For a long time not to hear. Thanks for post it!

  • Very nice sounds and scenes - nice work :-)
