Maltese Dog & Coon Cat play fight!

Luna (the cat) died today, 4 years old. She got into a fight with an ally cat and succumbed to her wounds one week later.

I love the fact that the cat only wanted the towel when he saw the dog wanted it.

Then he want 'gimme that!', even going as far as to sit on it, just to spite the doggy.

Ok two problems here:

1) The cat failed to use its claws to swipe the face of the maltese, and it didn't bite its throat when it had the chance.

2) The maltese presented an amazingly good target for a good stepping-on when it was lying on it's back being shitty to the cat. Where was the boot?

If we are going to train cats to solve the maltese epidemic through fighting then we need to give them a bit of help to start off.

There is not a dull moment, between these two pets. Of course it was a friendly game between the two, so who 'owned' whom, has really no meaning. Beside although both the dogs and cats predators and they understand each other well, but they are different too. Dogs are being pack animals, and cats being solitary hunters by nature. (Lions are an exemption.)

That video convinces me to get another Mayne Coon. What a special breed. No wonder they call them the "Gentle Giants". I don't think he is at all mean with the dog here. He just had to be convinced to play that silly game. When he did, he was good at it. Proof? The dog kept asking for more. FAB video. I love it.

lol this is so adorable. The cat at first is like . . ."DUDE, Youuuuuuu think youuu can fight me?" The cat pushes the dog away knowing that it could easily roll over on top of the dog and that would be the end of it. That little dog is so cute though and kept annoying the cat. . .I would adopt them both
