  • Love your info. You seem to know what you talk about. Will look into the avocado oil. Q: Do these oils actually improve your hairs health if applied externally daily? I believe hair health works best from within and out. Oral vitamins.

  • My hair was damaged since 13 when my mother forced a lye relaxer in it saying it was too "nappy". It angered me for years until I decided to incorporate more greens in my diet (organic) and fruits in veggies. In addition, I did substantial research and have found that Avocado oil is by FAR greater than Olive in EVERY aspect. It has EVERYTHING Olive oil has but in concentrated quantities and is WAY more penetrating as well. I use my Avocado as a base along with Almond oil which is my second fav.

  • so where can i find this avocado oil you are using in this video? and is it the best one you can get?

  • I am going to have to believe that avocado is the superior oil - your hair look damn fine, girl!

  • So were can we buy this oil online at a reasonable price?

    UK

  • @queeny107 I live in Ireland and I buy from iherb.com.they have thousands of natural products.even if I pay some duty taxes still I get everything half price than here.I got my package in two working days.its a solid site.and use cod KEB068 for 5 $ off on your first purchase.take a look

  • @petrapetra2002 - Thank! you so much I made a order with skinnutrition.co.uk this morning. I miss your message for I just came in this evening message. & check out this webpage & you are right they are cheaper i will be ordering from them from now on. I live in south of England, London Thanks!! for your reply...

  • @queeny107 You can buy it in any (Large) Sainsbury's store. It's about £4.00 - £4.50. (250ml) The best brand is Olivado Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Avocado Oil. I don't put it in my hair (but I am sure it's great for hair) - I drink it (in small quantities) for the wonderful health benefits...

  • where do you buy it girl?

  • i stumbled on this video via google, i have to thank you because that's gotta be the most honest, most detailed non biased comparison that i ever saw....thank you.............

  • I live in spain and we get olive oil cheaper here but there is an extra virgen olive oil intense version which is more concentrated and a darker green which I go for, look for evoo intense if it is available in your country

    bye

  • I bought avocado oil and it said 100% pure =/. Are the 100 pure ones definitely green? Damn them! I live in the UK and we dont have all the beenfits as you guys do! jealous!

  • I made my own! i used abt 5 avocados and cooked them. it made my hair stay soft all day! is the golden one just as good?

  • I am trying it and I like it. My nails are growing from it. I got it one weeks ago. Thank you for the information.

  • hi there i just wanted 2 ask is the pure avacado oil coz iv just bht mine of ebay and my avacado oil clr is yellowy cream and were did you get yrz frm thanxs hunn

  • Great video thanks for sharing. I learned a lot about both oils.

  • I love me some avocado oil... my hubby picked up a bottle for me the other day!

  • where can i get avocado oil? Can you get it at a whole foods market??

  • @goldengoddess381 yes you can, I actually just picked some up today!

  • You are so cute in this video and good quality:)

  • Please clarify, I noticed that you referenced Olive Oils as being green, and you also said that about avocado oils. Are both oils green when they are authentic?

  • Hey gorgeous, I use avocado oil in my hair also. I find my hair feels so soft when I use it. I don't feel much difference when I use Olive Oil . I also use the avocado oil on my skin fresh out of the shower while my skin is still wet. And like you, I love the smell. Thanks for sharing.

  • love love love the locs

  • You're wonderful! Thank you so much for this knowledge and Love your pretty hair :)

  • If olive oil is cheap, i go for it, cheap large glass jar and still works as good

  • Great video. I considered avocado oil for the proteins, cause that's what our hair needs for strength and structure, my hair and skin actually HATE olive oil although most ppl on youtube rave about it. Coconut oil is definitely amazing. Almond oil works for me as well.

  • i hope that people don't substitute the words of yt vloggers for doing their own research. something that stood out was the description of a golden color olive as being better than a green color. extra virgin olive oil (first pressing) can be golden or greenish in color. the difference lies in when the oil was harvested, where, etc. if you buy evoo the jar should be dark so you won't know the color until you pour ayway. protasters often obscure the color to fairly determine quality.

  • Man you have a lot of useful knowledge, thanks for sharing! BTW you had a really nice smile at the end and nice hair! Please do more vids!

  • great vid where on line can i buy in colorado

  • Not sure if you're talking about hair masks, but you can also use a whole avocado, as a hairtreatment/mask. and combine with oliveoil, and banana.

  • where can i get what you got because the avocado oil and olive oil I have are both yellow

  • great info!

I am def. on the hunt for some real avocado oil, unfortunately my local publix or health food store doesn't have it. For now I am using the raw avocado for deep conditioning tmt...

  • Great vid! You have a new subbie :)

  • great video.. thanks!!!

  • I can you recommend me to where i can purchase the oil< thanks in advance! great video!

  • @bluemolases can you tell me where to get the dark avocado oil. Thanks.

  • That was really helpful. :) I think I'll need to stick with Olive Oil for awhile though, I can't afford 12 dollars for an 8 ounce bottle right now xD. But I have to say, I'd love to switch, olive oil smells pretty nasty.

  • wow i learned alot thanks

  • video is very good!!

  • VERY good information! The (Mexican) store I used to buy mine from no longer carries it. =[ It's more expensive at Whole Foods Market, but I'm going to have to bring it back into the 'rotation'. ;D Great video, lady!

  • Surely sounds good but not for people who have gray to white hair. The Advocado Oil will more than likely stain the hair. But I surely would like to try it

  • This was very informative I will try using avocado oil.

  • Hi where can i purchase this avocado oil ?

  • If you are a diabetic, can you still use the avocado oil in your hair?

  • If you don't mind me asking, what do you for a living?

  • thank u for the tips :)

  • This is great advice... if you are going to EAT the avocado.

  • get an overripe avocado. mash it. put it in your hair. rinse it out, it works pretty nicely. Vitamins, proteins etc mean NOTHING to your hair because it is dead and can not absorb nutrients.

  • I get wonderful dark green avocado oil from whole Foods. I also just tried putting plain avocado oil in my hair today with excellent results! next time I'm going to try it with the coconut oil. Thanks for the great info!

  • @laurab48 what brand was that avacado oil? (= my friends gonna pick some up for me so...yea. :p

  • @3sweetthings It's called La Tourangelle california gourmet oils. The oil comes in a can with a srew on cap and a green label with a white rectangular area in the front with the name and stuff.

  • @laurab48 is it in the Oils sections?? because i had to get Olivado Natural Nutrioton cold pressed extra virgin Avacado Oil in the Oil Tasting section in WF because that's all they had that was actually green. it is not as green as the one she's showing but it's definitely green.

  • @bek2134944 That sounds high quality to me. Cold pressed is good because heat can damage the fats in the oils. anyway yes I got it in the oil isle next to other oils like hemp, almond, and olive.

  • @laurab48 ok thank you so much!! !i found it online! But I will try out the one I bought for now. Thanks again!!

  • Great info

  • great info! thanks!

  • thank you for the video. I have wasted lots of money getting the wrong avocado oil. they tell me its suppose to be yellow. can you please tell me where can I get dark green avocado oil?

  • Thanks nece101 and marinewifey25. I got the avocado oil and the pressed Olive Oil. I also got the virgin coconut oil which comes solid. But this one doesn't really smell of coconut? I've already started using the avocado oil on my body as well and its lovely! Doesn't smell that great, but it is lovely

  • Thanks for this!! You taught me a lot!!

  • Is the avocado oil good also for the skin ?

  • where do you purchase the avocado oil?

  • @bdelone

    my email address is prosperity@cox.net

  • I love using avacado oil. I'm italian and black, and it worked wonders on my naturally curly hair. It was WAY better than olive oil. I do a mayo, avacado oil,and coconut oil treatment on my hair every month :D

  • I've bought Avocado Oil from my local supermarket in the section where they have the cooking oils. Is that the same thing?

  • @VeeBee81 Yes, it is!

  • @VeeBee81 Yes, it is!

  • @VeeBee81 I'm not sure if she's had a chance to answer you question yet,but yes it is.As long as its unrefined or virgin you should be good.Andit smells just like coconuts.I've recently started using it on my hair because it was so hard to find. But it really has made a difference.I would recommend getting some.

  • Your comments make a lot of sense. Where can I purchase avocado oil online?

  • Please tell me where I can purchase the dark green avocado oil you mentioned in this video?

  • Great video! you were so informative, and I learned more than I thought I woud. lol...who would have thought "bananas" are good for the hair!

I am in my first 7months of going natural. I still have relaxed hair though. I am so ready to cut it out. lol

but where do I buy avacado oil?

  • First...thank you for such an informative video. I was shocked to hear that there's a huge difference. I never really thought about the fact that olives are green so why isnt the oil lol. Anyway, Ive been running around all over town looking for both the olive oil and avocado oil. Please help!!!

  • what brand of avacado oil do you use?? do they sell it at whole foods??

  • Does the avocado oil penetrate the hair shaft ?

  • So what do you do with it....drink it?

  • Hi Bluemolases,

I appreciate your posting, although I do realize it was from sometime ago. My question is the same as many other people who have replied to your posting, where can I buy all natural dark green avocado oil online?

    Thank you

  • you have such beautiful skin, thanks for this video

  • This was very informative !!! Thx u !!!

  • would it be safe to put in a spray bottle and spraying it in my hair??

  • @infidelity143 of course, much safer and better than buying stuff from the beauty supply which is full of chemicals

  • You can buy avocado oil at some Super Walmart, at Super Targets, and many but not all grocery stores. It is cheaper than buying it from a natural food store. The brand I buy at Super Target and Super Walmart is the same brand I bought from the natural food store. I believe it is called Olivado

  • vitamins don't do shit unless ur hair eats shampoo

  • @HarleyStcool I'm watching this for my skin, though. I also don't care about what oils I put in my hair. As long as I have a protein treatment and something to make it soft, other things do not matter.

  • is there any way that you can fill me in on where you can get the avocado oil?

  • Thank you for the info. I am almost 3 years into wearing my hair 'chemical-free' and I would love to try this. The problem is, I cannot find it. I only find the light colored avocado oil. Please let me know where to get this stuff. I live in Florida, so hopefully it can be found here as well. Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Is it cheaper to buy avocado oil at Publix as oppose to buying it at whole foods? Is there other commerical store that carry Avocado oil?

  • Your hair's beautiful. I love it.

  • Hey! Great vid...great info. Can you shoot me an email about where your purchase good avocado oil...and if you know where to get the real olive oil...let me know about that as well! Thanks-a-mil!

  • Excellent video.. thnx!

  • u need to shave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...ew!!!

  • LOL, I just got my avocado oil from Publix!!!

  • Thanks for posting this vid, I got some avocado oil it was clear I thought that was how it origanlly came... next time I shop for it I will look for the dark colored avocado oil..Where do you get yours from? This is a great vid!...Thanks again :-)

  • where did you purchase your Avocado oil ?.?

  • Thanks for this video. I bought some avocado oil at Whole Foods, it is not dark green so I will look for that the next time. I have been using jojoba oil regularly which my hair likes. I have to say that my hair really likes the avocada oil. It is so rich and my hair feels great.

  • Where can I find Avocado oil? and are you still makinf videos? Just found this site, and found your vids. to be very infomative.

  • where did you buy your avocado oil ?.? Because when i went to herb shops they said it doesnt come in green.

  • wonderful review.....i figured since advacados are good for the hair the advacado oil should be awesome... i never heard of it before....and i was at the whole foods store and saw it and was like awwed..so i rushed to see a review on it...your was great! thanks for the info on olive oil too....didn't think of those things. another oil i use is an almond oil in my deep conditioning..it's awesome and the smell is sweet and nutty.... :)

  • @savbey Olive oil is fine, if that is what you like to use. It is not the same avovado oil, but it has a lot of nutrients in it as well, especially if it is green =o)

  • Could you please post a link where you buy your avocado oil from, Thanks for the information, keep them coming:)

  • @erie204 I'll shoot you an email, they won't let me post the site

  • Where do you get an avocado oil that is that dark. They didn't have a dark one at my healthfood store. I bought a lighter one. I love it though.

  • I'll shoot you an email, they won't let me post the site

  • you r amazing. wish u well n back on the yt. you have helped so much we need u on here. please come back.

  • how do you apply this thing? :) Do you actually buy a bottle of avocado oil, and just "wash" your hair with it, and than after a while (how long?) you just wash it off with neutral shampoo? thx in advance.

  • @charliethepunk Hi Charlie! I use it as a moisturizer ( a little goes a long way). My hair drinks it up and there is nothing really to rinse out. You can use it like a hot oil treatment/conditioner ( and rinse it out after 30 min), how ever you don't need to heat it for it to be effective. It sounds like that is what you are looking for =o)

  • @bluemolases Thanks, this is exactly answer I am looking for.

  • great video

  • Yeah EVOO is for cooking not hair... Girl you are ranked on Google for this vid about Avacado oil! Go head!

  • OK THIS IS KINDA A STUPID ASS QUESTION...LIKE WHEN YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT BANANAS AND HOW HAIR LIKES BANANAS....SOOOO. DO I EAT THE BANANA OR DO I PUT BANANAS ON MY HAIR...OH AN THE COCONUT OIL....ARE YOU REFFERING TO THE ONE THATS LIKE HAIR OIL OR LIKE DO I BUY THAT SOMEWHERE ELSE?

  • @CmccainMACCIN There is no such thing as a stupid question =o) I was referring to putting the bananas in your hair. You can blend it in whatever conditioner you are using ;-) When I am talking about coconut oil. I mean PURE coconut oil (unrefined.virgin etc.) that smells like coconuts. Coconut oil is starting to become Very popular even walmart, target, etc are starting to sell the virgin coconut oil.

  • @bluemolases lol yay thanks :) bouut to go buy bananas :) lol

  • @bluemolases I'll be on the look out for the Coconut oil I luv Coconuts I just bought me one thats already cut lol

  • CAN U PLEASE TELL ME WHERE TO FIND DARK GREEN AVOCADO OIL

  • @sunny2marie I'll shoot you an email they won't let me post it here

  • @bluemolases please tell me also where to find dark green avocado oil. I've a hair fall problem & would like to have lustrous & heavy hair again. Please help me. Thanks.

  • @bluemolases can you PLEASE!!! email it to me too?

  • @sunny2marie I was going to ask the same question because i cannot find the dark avocado oil....could i get one shot to me too????

  • @sunny2marie oh would you tell me too please? Thanks!

  • try avado organics - available at target online or avado organics website

  • That was great info.

  • why can't you just mix it?

  • @minididi42 you can mix whatever oils you want, it's up to you =o)

  • Hey Bluemolasses. Here's a question. When we buy the yellow olive oil, it says "extra virgin" on the bottle, so of course we, or at least I, thought I had been buying the real deal. So on to the question. What's the difference between the green olive oil and the extra virgin olive oil? U got me going now. Cause now I'm wondering if there's a more pure form of the extra virgin coconut oil. And on and on... Hair looks awesome by the way! Are those twists or locs? So thick and lush!

  • @maximuslyricus technically they are suppose to be one in the same. The difference is the amount of Chlorophyl in the oils. It is very sensitive to sunlight. So if they packed the oil months ago and left it exposed to light. Eventually it would deplete all the chlorophyl in it. So if they are being honest on the label, it would be the difference between fresh oil and not as fresh oil. If the coconut oil actually smells like coconut I think you are pretty safe. Thank you, they are twists

  • ahhhhhhhhhh!!! i freakin' love u, finally a smart approach to hair...you've got a new fan ^_^

  • Just like to point out, even if it is green than it may not be true olive oil. Believe it or not there are counterfeit olive oils that have been cut with other things. To check to see if you have 100% extra virgin olive put the oil in the refrigerator for about an hour. If it congeals or forms a fat layer then it is not true olive oil no matter what the label says!

  • Your videos are very informative. Thank you for posting them. You may have been asked this before, but instead of searching through all of your videos for the response, I'll ask you myself, why did you stop making videos?

  • @GodsGotThisNatural I got a little side tracked. I broke my camera in a hot air balloon accident and it hasn't worked the same way. I have to update my software to see if it was be used as a video camera (sigh) but I am focused again, and working on it =o) I hope to have another out shortly

  • Thank You

  • I looked everywhere. I cant seem to find Avocado oil that is dark green like yours. What is the brand of that oil?

  • @BabieLici you would use it just like you are doing a hot oil treatment or how you use the avocado mask in your video, except on your hair. Which by the way, the avocado fruit is what I like to use a conditioner ;o)

  • definitely will use avocado oil for now on. great information!

  • What about castro oil?

  • @sexycandy876 Cator oil is very good for your scalp and hair, it is high in emollients and great for skin disorders. It i a very thick oil so I like to mix with others to thin it out but still keep the benefits =o)

  • @bluemolases what do you mix with the castor oil to make it less thick please tell lol thanks

  • @michaeljacksonlov14 personally I mix it with (surprise surprise) avocado oil, and a little unrefined peanut oil. Peanut oil has antioxidants, Niacin (for brain health and circulation),Vitamin E and also has over 30 essential nutrients. =o)

    Hope this helps

  • quick question, i heard olive oil is good for getting rid of dandruff. How true is that? Because i tend to get flakes and wat nots in my hair. If its not true, what would u recommend for something like that? Are there any natural products that could help?

  • @brwnsugar1820 I think sometimes people tend to confuse dandruff with dry scalp. When your scalp is dry you will flake as well until you provide it with a certain amount of moisture (which varies depending on the person). Now if your hair is properly moisturized and you still have scalp flakes sticking to you hair, that's dandruff. and Papaya will help you with that since it has an enzyme that eats dead protein

  • @bluemolases Thank you so much! that was very informative.

  • this was a great video! extremely informative so keep up the good work:)

  • There is always a first time for everything. You did great!

  • Thank you for schooling me on the wonders of Avocado Oil. I just picked up a bottle, I'm finna use it right now "0) Thanks for the tips!

  • where can i purchase avocado oil???
