The player deserved the ejection for the comment about having another beer. The base umpire should have gotten down the line to prevent further contact between the player and plate umpire. Based solely on this video, as a league commissioner both men would be suspended; however the player's suspension would be much greater as he initiated the contact, the umpire reacted. I completely agree with you the other umpire should have stepped in as soon as hostility was shown(ie the umpire pushing the player) but I can tell just by how these umpires look that they are not very good, the least they can do is match their shirt color, one is wearing light blue the other wearing navy blue. But like I said earlier, an umpire should never strike a player or manager and vice versa.
