Melody is twelve but Ariel is certainly not 39! Ariel was sixteen when she was married. Im estimating that she had Melody five years later, plus twelve would equal 33. So I really dont believe she would be 40

i agree. In those days the girls often got pregnant really fast. Ariel should maybe be about 18, when she gives birth to Melody. And Eric is possible two-three years older than Ariel. So when Melody is twelve, Ariel is only about 30, and Eric up about 33 maybe.

Just because Eric and Ariel don't look 41 and 39 doesn't mean they aren't. You don't have to look a certain age to be it. And I doubt the artists would even WANT them to look that old.

Wow! If you watch this and listen to the song In My Daughter's Eyes by Martina McBride, it fits perfectly! The timeing is perfect too. Maybe you can try doing a video like this again with that song. Or an idea that you can try is the song from Dumbo...Baby Mine, and make a video of all the disney mothers or mentors with their youngsters. Examples like Ariel + Melody, Mrs. Pots + Chip, Dumbo + Mother, Serabi + Mufasa + Simba, Nala + Simba + Kiara...and so on.

Beautiful song :-) The song became famous all over the world when Sissel sang it during the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer (Norway) in 1994 ;) There is a Norwegian version of this song too, it is called "Se ilden lyse"
