Anyone can become a manga artist, it is up to you that if you have what it takes to become one, if you really REALLY want to become one, then never give up! I'm Mexican, I'm learning how to draw and started buying tools for drawing manga, look no one is gonna tell me that I can't become a manga artist. I'm gonna give it all I have!!!! I told my friends that I wanted to be a manga comic writer, But they said I'll never make it because I'm Hindu. I get so angry when people say you have to be from Japan to be a manga comic artist or writer. I'm not gonna give up my dream, and for what my friends said...well screw what they say.

@avpkid345 You don't have to do it in Japan it's more adviceable to do it in Japan. But there have been some comic books drawn in Anime style look at Avatar the last airbender. Great anime and it's not from Japan it's from America. So what I would tell you is just keep following your dreams the only person stopping them is yourself.
