I saw him in Clarksdale in 2006 at Morgan Freeman's Groudn Zero juke joint...the kid played ALL kinds of music, including unforgettable Jimi Hendrix while holding the guitar over his head backwards AND continuing to sound great! Singing technique will improve as he grows, but this kid has a very bright future. And he's just as talented on electronic keyboard!
as an addition to my previous comment, i can believe that he taught himself the piano, just at an older age than two, just wanted to clarify that, i mean i guess it could happen, im just stumped.
Conrad started playing with a toy piano at age 2 1/2. By the time that he turned 3 he could play anything he heard, by 4 he was performing in public. As a visually impaired kid, the piano was his favorite "toy" and he played with it ALL the time, and learned it quickly.
I have watched this kid play for some time on this site and never knew he was "visually impared" (never read the comments). I enjoyed his playing as much then as I do now which means...It really doesn't matter.
Friggin amazing! Impaired visual, 11 or 12 years old, self taught with guitar and piano. Kenny Wayne Shepherd self taught as well. Really remarkable! What talent!
can you tell him if he could cover something by john mayer and post it? his new album is totally blues. i think Conrad could do a really good job on one of them.

Excellent rendition of a great tune. Have you ever heard Lynyrd Skynyrd's version? It's on their One More From The Road album.
