Using triggers doesn't make the music worse, it merely makes it easier for the musician to still execute the piece as planned. As far as I'm aware, there is no "bitch ass cheating" when it comes to writing music.

When they exert the natural energy required to play double bass without the assistance of triggers, you can feel the difference in power.

Also, as to black metal, Hellhammer is superior as a drummer, Frost's style is just too limited...

That's not the case with Hellhammer, just look at his work with Arcturus.

HH has by far a more progressive and sometimes jazzy playing than Frost.In the latest Satyricon albums,wich are more mid tempo,even a 15 years old drummer can play these.On the contrary the mid tempo parts of HH like the one I've mentioned are more solid and technically excellent.As for speed and blasting HH has proved what he can do.Just listen to "you must fall" from chimera album.

Screw Satyricon, check out 1349. Listen to "Sculptor of Flesh" or the whole "Hellfire" album and you'll see that Frost's technique has greatly improved. oh and btw, that praised HH's jazzy style and technique is the same on almost every album. :)

@NocturnalKiller HH has played in many bands with different style so what you say sounds impossible.You can't compare Arcturus with Mayhem.But all Frost's project are more or less the same.Blastbeating with 1349,blastbeating with Satyricon (early),blastbeating with Gorgoroth most of the time and blastbeating with Zyklon B too.HH has a great variety from Mayhem to Jorn or Winds.HH has his unique style which is recognizable.That means nothing.He still varies from album to album
