These "Mindless Sheep" have been conditioned into believing all that the watchtower society deems as "TRUTH." Blind obedience or you are shunned, which is far worse than an islamic honor killing. When you are disfeffowshipped, you are cast out from "jehova's protection" and his other mindless lambs. Your family turns their backs on you as if you are dead. My parents and some siblings are dead. I never went to their funerals, not because I was not welcome, but because I moved on.

@CEEJLESS Hmm, no, I don't think so. Other religions are persecuted, yes, but not for the same reasons as Jehovah's Witnesses. For example, a major reason JWs are persecuted is their refusal to get involved in war and politics, whereas other faiths are persecuted for the opposite reasons. Also, JWs are most hated for their door to door preaching, something that is almost unheard of in other faiths. Mormons are the next known for this, yet their missionaries amount to less than 1% of JWs.
@midoscentavos But the scripture doesn't mention for what reasons the 'true' christians would suffer. It's a bit illogical to say jesus was applying that to your religion because other religions aren't suffering for the same reason. Christadelphians and 7th day adventists who your religion origiated with, also do not go to war. I'm quite sure 95% of people don't even mind you knocking on doors every so often, but if mormons upped their time on doors they'd 'hated' just as much.

I quoted John 15:19-20 and 2Timothy 3:12. See also 1 Peter 4:4. By the way, Jehovah's wintesses have no association with 7th Day Adventists or Chritaldephians (I have never heard of them before) and never had. The winesses are not a branch off any religion, most of its members come from many and varied faiths.
I would dare anyone from any religion to show me the word trinity in any translation of the bible and I know you can't because it is not a bible teaching. If God were a trinity, he would have told us so and not hidden that word. He did however let us know that Jesus is God's Son, and I can definitely show you that. The reason they preach from door to door is in obedience to Jesus' command to "go make disciples" (Matthew 28:19,20). Matthew 24:14 is being fulifilled today BY Jehovah's Witnesses. There is no denying that. The Watchtower magazine (now published in 194 languages!) originally carried the words, "Herald of Christ's Presence".

@91fatboy51 If nothing else dude,research what JW"s do in times of war. I realised once and for all at an international convention early 90's that I belonged to something special. Serbs and Bosnians were committing some of the worst atrocities on each other in that ethnic/religious war,while at this convention they sat with each other,completely united. Witnesses in Serb-Bosnia would all help each other out,because we live by our faith,nationality,tribe,creed whatever makes no difference.
The same happened in Rawanda,the Hutu-Tutsi tribal war where 500,000 men,woman and children were butchered because of their tribe. Our brothers risked their lives helping and hiding each other. We have this unique world wide unity because we all serve Jehovah together,we all follow bible principles in harmony in every land. Don't you think that qualifies as making the world a better place?
@Copsweet This is SUCH an accomplishment! I just watched the moive "Hotel Rwanda" after reading about the activities of JWs in that land and how 450 of them were slaughtered during the massacre. It is faith strengthening to know they had nothing to do with that but Hutu protected Tutsi and the risk, and sometime loss of their own lives. Yet, other christians are willing to kill one another in war. How does that make any sense? Which side is God on during war?

@Reckin13 The bible does speak of a heavenly hope, but it also speaks of an earthly one. It was JESUS himself who said, "The meek shall inherit THE LAND" (Matthew 5:5). The scriptures also say the righteous will possess the EARTH and live in it FOREVER (Psalm 37:29). Do you choose to ignore these scriptures?

@Reckin13 Exodus 20:3 was not spoken by Jesus! He appeared on the scene thousands of years later. In fact, I don't believe there is any place in scripture where Jesus "spoke" the 10 commandments. Nevertheless, yes, to be a Christian means to follow the Christ. What did Christ do while on earth? He preached about God's Kingdom! Just as Jehovah's Witnesses do today. He was known for his kindness and his high moral character. Just as Jehovah's Witnesses are known today.

Now look in Isaiah 44:6, "“This is what Jehovah has said, the King of Israel and the Repurchaser of him, Jehovah of armies, ‘I am THE FIRST AND I AM THE LAST, and besides me there is no God."
@MrGlover211 Jesus is clearly talking in Rev because he was the one that was DEAD and now he saying He is the First and the Last. Jehovah said He is the First and the Last. It couldn't get any clearer. He never denied being God and he accepted worship. You have to remember he was also a man so when he cried out in distress that was his human side in distress. You obviously do no understand the trinity. It's ONE God with three distinct beings.

(its a paraphrase) if he was god he wouldnt have to do that. jesus is second in command to god, not the same.

When we speak of ONE true church, we are not talking about one building of worship but many with many church leaders and many worshipers but it's still ONE true church that worship the same God. God is only ONE true God but with three separate persons sharing equal divinity under that ONE God. Yes the dove was the Holy Spirit which is the third person.

As a man he was subject to God, the Father and then when finishes the job that he came into existence with as a man, he will again join the Father as God sharing the same divinity. You need to read that whole verse. The end says ".....that God may be all in all." ....

@CEEJLESS Hmm, no, I don't think so. Other religions are persecuted, yes, but not for the same reasons as Jehovah's Witnesses. For example, a major reason JWs are persecuted is their refusal to get involved in war and politics, whereas other faiths are persecuted for the opposite reasons. Also, JWs are most hated for their door to door preaching, something that is almost unheard of in other faiths. Mormons are the next known for this, yet their missionaries amount to less than 1% of JWs.

It's a bit illogical to say jesus was applying that to your religion because other religions aren't suffering for the same reason. Christadelphians and 7th day adventists who your religion origiated with, also do not go to war. I would dare anyone from any religion to show me the word trinity in any translation of the bible and I know you can't because it is not a bible teaching. If God were a trinity, he would have told us so and not hidden that word. He did however let us know that Jesus is God's Son, and I can definitely show you that. The reason they preach from door to door is in obedience to Jesus' command to "go make disciples" (Matthew 28:19,20). Matthew 24:14 is being fulifilled today BY Jehovah's Witnesses. There is no denying that. The Watchtower magazine (now published in 194 languages!) originally carried the words, "Herald of Christ's Presence".

It is faith strengthening to know they had nothing to do with that but Hutu protected Tutsi and the risk, and sometime loss of their own lives. Yet, other christians are willing to kill one another in war. How does that make any sense? Which side is God on during war?

@Reckin13 The bible does speak of a heavenly hope, but it also speaks of an earthly one. It was JESUS himself who said, "The meek shall inherit THE LAND" (Matthew 5:5). The scriptures also say the righteous will possess the EARTH and live in it FOREVER (Psalm 37:29). Do you choose to ignore these scriptures?

@Reckin13 Exodus 20:3 was not spoken by Jesus! He appeared on the scene thousands of years later. In fact, I don't believe there is any place in scripture where Jesus "spoke" the 10 commandments. Nevertheless, yes, to be a Christian means to follow the Christ. What did Christ do while on earth? He preached about God's Kingdom! Just as Jehovah's Witnesses do today. He was known for his kindness and his high moral character. Just as Jehovah's Witnesses are known today.

@MrGlover211 Jesus is clearly talking in Rev because he was the one that was DEAD and now he saying He is the First and the Last. Jehovah said He is the First and the Last. It couldn't get any clearer. He never denied being God and he accepted worship. You have to remember he was also a man so when he cried out in distress that was his human side in distress. You obviously do no understand the trinity. It's ONE God with three distinct beings.

@jojoneli76 i dont understand the trinity. its complicated and doesnt make a whole lot of sense. what was going on at Jesus baptism? at that event you see jesus, the holy spirit in dove form and God says this is my son. also at 1 corinth 15:28 it says after the son has subjected all things then he will subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him. (its a paraphrase) if he was god he wouldnt have to do that. jesus is second in command to god, not the same.

When we speak of ONE true church, we are not talking about one building of worship but many with many church leaders and many worshipers but it's still ONE true church that worship the same God. God is only ONE true God but with three separate persons sharing equal divinity under that ONE God. Yes the dove was the Holy Spirit which is the third person.

As a man he was subject to God, the Father and then when finishes the job that he came into existence with as a man, he will again join the Father as God sharing the same divinity. Read my posts,then go off+check the information,501 c 3 U.N(NGO's) document+NGO's implementing Agenda 21,the Freemasonic cross in the crown+what it is,who uses it+what the thing was doing on Watchtower mags when Mr Russell was running things,if he was not a Freemason.
