Whats amazing is that there are sharks in that lake, it has been rumored for a while but just some isolated sightings of fins. But these guys actually hooked a hammer head. Amazing stuff.
Thats just one of the small ones out there a man can't go jewie or king fishin..or any kind of fishin without a bloody Hammerhead biting ya catch in half befor you land it ..if you don't get it to shore or in the boat quick smart you end up with a head on ya Hook..i fish from the shore the fishing has never been this good but the hammers are giveing me a hard time around wangi wangi power station inlet iv'e seen pack of hammers in this area feeding woopin down mullet any 1 4 a swim
With out giving away any of my fishing techniques, i generally fish for yellow tail kings around structure, but the primary reason is my wife posted it and got that bit wrong.You do get some big taylor inthe lake but not that big! ive been waiting for that comment.
@mrjklf do u 'berlei up' for kings and if so what baits been workn for ya up there? and i was gonna say wtf would u use 50lb for catchn sharks but them i realised with a pissant reel and pissant boat u werent exactly expecting sum thing that big
Power Station goes off! Bitve a worry though having such precious species concentrated in this area. Threatened & Endangered Turtles and Rare Rays also hang in these areas!

Nice fish! The taking in of the fish could be a lllllliiiitlle bit better though :p
Try steering your boat with the rod, it'll save you a LOT of trouble of moving around in the boat ;-)
