I most definitely think this was a low point in Helloween's career. Shame, because the piano at the beginning is incredible. This doesn't sound like it came from a band that had ever been metal.

@killerfireworks101 a lot of bands do that nowadays, and I think they're all right in doing that, if I had a band for more than 6 years, I would die if I didn't release at least one ballad or if I didn't experimented a little because it's terrible for a band, specially these old ones like 15+ to sound exactly the same through the years, or at least I would hate that.

lol, i tell ya, listening to this song years later, i really have to admit... it's not a bad song. It's just extremely un-helloween, and they can get away with a LOT and still be helloween. Its kinda like a well done tune that should be in the opening credits to a show on the "education channel" or something like that, not on any rock band's record, lol. And this is not Michael Kiske's best singing, he's a little flat and lazy here and there, like his heart wasn't in it.
I honestly can´t understand people who think "metal" band is absolutely forbidden to record anything even close to "pop". There are no borders in music, no good or bad songs- because something so awesome as music can´t be bad... there are just compositions you like and dislike. This one is from the first cathegory for me. it´s very touching, moody and I think it nicely captures the emotion behind Weiki´s behaviour. Awesome song, perfect video, 5 stars.

well, i consider my self a die-hard helloween fun, however i really dont like this song plus i consider Chameleon as a mediocre-towards bad- album. This is not because its pop mate, its just a BAD album for me taste. Tbh i listen to pop sometimes, i like good pop music. This song could be best described as cheesy ballad for 8 year olds who all smile by the camp fire, while the album has a play-more-of-us-on-the-radio-we-aint-metal attitude, instead of being genuine creative work

After all its a matter of taste...For me Windmill is one of Helloween best songs. n to me Forever n One or In The Middle of a Heartbeat more "pinky" than this song. Look at the lyrics. Look at the tone...Guitar Distortion aint always means rock.... @killerfireworks101 a lot of bands do that nowadays, and I think they're all right in doing that, if I had a band for more than 6 years, I would die if I didn't release at least one ballad or if I didn't experimented a little because it's terrible for a band, specially these old ones like 15+ to sound exactly the same through the years, or at least I would hate that.

This song is awsome and chameleon is not a bad album just because it isn't 'helloween". It is simply them trying something new and expanding their horizons which only makes them better musicians.

lol, i tell ya, listening to this song years later, i really have to admit... it's not a bad song. It's just extremely un-helloween, and they can get away with a LOT and still be helloween. Its kinda like a well done tune that should be in the opening credits to a show on the "education channel" or something like that, not on any rock band's record, lol. And this is not Michael Kiske's best singing, he's a little flat and lazy here and there, like his heart wasn't in it.

I honestly can´t understand people who think "metal" band is absolutely forbidden to record anything even close to "pop". There are no borders in music, no good or bad songs- because something so awesome as music can´t be bad... there are just compositions you like and dislike. This one is from the first cathegory for me. it´s very touching, moody and I think it nicely captures the emotion behind Weiki´s behaviour. Awesome song, perfect video, 5 stars.
