However, as a scientist and composer I doubt the true efficacy of your system and am skeptical. Where are your results? Did you make up a program to translate mp3s to notes? Did you improve MIDI translation? BTW, whose work are you presenting? Is this professor also at Stanford? Thanks in advance.

My research was in constructing a framework for music analysis/transcription: extracting physical models from music and inventing a machine learning mechanism to analyze these models for perceptual content. I'm the sole author of this research, and I did not work with a professor.
