  • Thank you very much SuitcaseJohny. That is a great help.

  • Can you wwoof in a foreign country with a regular VISA? I'm interested in wwoofing in Italy and I don't know if you need a work visa or just a standard one.

  • Hello, I am Alan from WWOOF Italy

You can go wwoofing in foreign countries on a regular visa. WWOOFing is not work it is a non monetary exchange so you do not need a work visa, an ordinary tourism visa is just fine. If you join WWOOF Italy there is a lot of information about visas on their join page

    Bye

    Alan

  • @SuitcaseJohny Thanks! Helpful comment! I am considering WWOOFing. I would love to travel and be able to spend time working and growing what I eat. It sounds so spiritually satisfying and having been a city dweller for the past 11 years (I grew up on a farm until age 12), I miss it. I feel like I have probably forgotten alot of the basics, but that it will all come back if I give it a chance. Is it possible to volunteer back to back for a lot of different organic farms? travel the world?

  • great vid, hahahah those bells

  • i plan on going wwoofing very soon,

this experince is bullshit and the lady doesn't seem to be very excited for the whole event of wwoofing and helping the people or promoting everything that this program has to offer for the person doing it and the people receiving the help.

this video would almost detour me from going.

i vote you take it down to prevent would be woofers from being bored by the plain, gray picture she paints of the whole experince.

  • I hear what you say about the gray. can they do that and take it down? I think it is possible to read between the lines and make up your own mind about how you might insert yourself into the situation of WWOOFing... it is not like she got paid to advertise the thing and its not an advert... why not just add your own colour and dont count on some internet version of how to live...
