from my knowledge he is a hybrid. a human and a vampire at the same time. you can learn more about hybrids when you read the manga. usually hybrids are stronger than pure bloods.

He is like buning said a hybrid but he is a ghoul meaning if his limiter the lock on his wrist is removed he becomes a blood lusting killing machine that attacks friend or foe without the vampires major weakness except to holy objects. But with the Lock on he is a human Vampire Hybrid. Meaning he is by definition a vampire but does not require blood to live but he does yearn for it a great deal. If you haven't read the manga, thats probably why you don't know about that ''tattoo'' that has something to do with his vampire/ghoul powers.

There is alot of differences between the manga and anime so far. There is many events, incounters, characters not present in the anime. When theres a ''scene'' in the anime from the manga it is mostly changed on how its happening or whats being said and who is part of it.

1 story told in 2 different ways, in other words :P... But both ways are good :3

actually Ghoul can infect people if their bitten, the ghoul's teeth carries deceased causing people to go insane and turn them to a mindless ghoul... in legend (interesting legend), if u r bitten by vampire and get bitten by ghoul, the decease can spread together then u will be a powerful monster (the ghoul is powerful than the vampire) then u will not die so easly because now u can have strenght, defence and intelligent because vampire's decease... u have strengeth because of ghoul's decease

That picture of Tsukune in Ghoul state is true, BUT that isn't happening in ep12, it is just to atract people attention, and drag them to their site.

It hasn't happened yet because Tsukune doesn't get bad injuries all the time like in the manga, so Moka doesn´t need to give him some of her blood and when that happens:

The manga says "Ghoul-like" not Ghoul specifically. The deteriation of his mind when he loses control and becomes berserked is a ghoul like state. Anyway, theres no vamp/ghoul tsukune in the anime. Just FYI.

Tsukune = ghoul when he has white eyes with no irises or pupils. He is also blood thirsty and mindless in this state. This form came after the vampire form.

With the holy lock, Tsukune can access his powers at will. This makes the lock crack, which is an ominous state of affairs.

So, you see, there is a difference between the two.

the vampire blood that moka gave him basically took over his human blood and turned him into a mindless ghoul. It didn't awaken early because moka only injected him once but because she continousley injected him the vampire blood went wild and took over tsukune :( but its still awesome XD did that answer anything ???

thats a tad harder to answer...well he doesn't die. he is a given a "holy lock" similiar to moka's rosario that seals the vampire blood and basically turns him into a human again...although later he is able to call out his vampire powers but the lock cracks whenever he uses these powers...and when the lock breaks of he'll turn back into a ghoul im pretty sure. Although when the lock is on and he isnt vampire or anything he does thirst for blood :O haha so yer is he really human i dnt know :P
