  • is it for sale, if it is please get back to me

  • hahaha thats so sick u hardly put ur foot down and u squeeled the tires

  • I jized, 0:41

  • It's nice to see Brits taking an interest in fine American craftsmanship.

  • y do u brits drive on the wrong side of the road?

  • Pontiac rulez!!

  • yea 78 trans am the ultimate muscle car,,,totally bitchen and she,s gold w, t tops wew,yea you rock!!!!

  • Very cool, nice someone in UK appreciates these cars. What I usually see are the Top Gear guys thumbing their noses at American muscle cars. Nice treat.

  • Hey i preffer the 79' myself, and it seems to me the 79-81s are more expensive than the 77-78s even though there were more made in 79' sooo

anyways, i bet the British are scared to death of this car LOL, i so wanna take a muscle car like this to Europe and see how freaked out everyone gets when they see this loud evil american muscle car in their mirror xD

  • check out my video . car is almost done.... cant wait

  • The 78 trans am is hands down my fave car, my dad used to have identical car only it was a 1978 TA y88 i think it had the 6.6 turbo for an engine and he said it would fly lol, and handle really well. someday im gunna buy him one and were gunna restore it =)

  • @Rbkkid350 They never made a 6.6 turbo, 77-78 was the Pontiac 400 in all cars, 79 had the 400 in manual and the Olds 403 in auto, 80-81 had many options including the Chevy 305, Pontiac 301, and a Turbocharged version of the Pontiac 301, so maybe your dad had an 80 or 81 Turbo T/A? haha

My dad has one too actually, he has a Bandit Edition 81' Turbo T/A, its an amazing car, these cars are 80 times better in person than they are in videos and pictures, and in pictures they're to die for so, damn!

  • @Ratmouth66 you are right my friend his was an auto 403 olds, good motor. he bought the 78 when it was two years old for around 7 grand, it was the most amazing car he said hes ever driven, they are for me the nicest looking car on the road. dad told me he drove that car the way they did in the bandit movie hahaaa everytime i watch it i think of him in that car lol.

  • @Ratmouth66 you are right my friend his was an auto 403 olds from a 79 trans am, the origional 400 got blown due to the previous owner running the engine low on oil, dad said the 403 was just as good. he bought the 78 when it was two years old for around 7 grand, it was the most amazing car he said hes ever driven, they are for me the nicest looking car on the road. dad told me he drove that car the way they did in the bandit movie hahaaa everytime i watch it i think of him in that car lol.

  • My dad had a 1977 gold TA just like this

  • must be a very hard find in the uk as it is in the us too

  • Grandma had one in Black w/Gold Bird. She talks about it all the time still... now I see why! lol

  • that shit sounds incredible.

  • I love this car!!

  • I love to see American muscle in the UK. Do your neighbors think you're crazy to have a car with a 6.6 liter engine? They probably all drive Twingos. LOL

Absolutely beautiful car, by the way.

  • I saw one just like this at the Seminole smoke shop in Hollywood, Fl. Risked my life and limb to get pictures of it. The owner was like seven feet tall. I call this car Golden Boy.

    Badass TA, Man.

  • That T/A sounds healthy.

  • My brother has the exact same model. It's a cool car.

  • Sooooo nice. Once I restore my Camaro I would like to buy one of them. Great car m8.

  • i also have a 1978 gold trans am it has the birds also bad ass car man

  • I love this Bird!!!!

  • That is a stunner guys, well done, keep it that way! did he give you the keys back??? where abouts you lot from? i have a 1991 Trans Am GTA, very quick, and very handsome.

  • Hi, your car sounds awesome! I also have a 78 T/A. What kind of exhaust system do you have and what kind of mufflers?

  • There's one just like this on Ebay. It's not yours is it?

  • No, the one on ebay is the less desirable 1979, we have a 1978.

  • Agree - Less desirable except was a shame the 4.9 Turbo wasnt a option until 79 tho

  • Beautiful car man.

  • @sh466y

    i prefer the 79

  • Hi i have a 1978 white trans am, restoring it as it was broken into once in garage when my dad left it there for ten years. its interior and brakes need doing. yours is nice though. our paint works still perfect. were near chelmsford in essex.

  • Nice car. My former nelghbor had one just like this some years ago .

  • Sounds nice, let's see it run!

  • nice bird gold is 1 of my fav colors

  • Nice car mate. TOO bad it just cost you about 2 pounds to pull it in and out of your driveway. It cost me about $20 every time I take mine out for a spin. Nothing like the sound of a Pontiac 6.6!

  • hahaha "2 pounds to pull it in and out".

  • Beautiful Car!!! F body rulez!!

  • Very nice car! I had a 78 gold Bandit Edition T/A 6.6 about 10yrs ago- only car I ever drove that I could drive at 150mph with 1 hand on the wheel!

  • 7.5l?

  • I just love this car... we have one in white, but the gold one is so..awesome!!

  • What exhaust system are you running headers, mufflers etc..

Nice ride.I had a Y88 4speed, now I have a Bandit car doing full restoration on.

  • Hi, the car is Stock, as rolled out of factory. As we are magnaflow dealers in UK I am going to put a magnaflow 3" system with x pipe and only 1 silencer per pipe, I will change the headers but still confused as to what header brand I should go with, what to you recommend???

  • I went with the Hedman Shorty headers for clearance under the car, but for full length headers the Doug's headers are the way to go fit is great. I bought my shorty's from Butler Performance they are online check them out.

  • @sh466y i would have to say hooker headers are a good choice. not sure about service in the UK though.

  • A great lookin car, pity it corners like a train.

  • Isn't an Y88 is it?

Black steering col. gives it away?!

SO WHAT!! Still a great car!

  • not a Y88

  • brits drive mens cars too

  • just mint

  • solar gold makes the car more classic and unique not to many left around in this color. i have one and the only one in my city

  • nice car

  • nice car it could probaly beat my Nissan Primera 2.5 v6 twinpipe SRi 1990 Sounds Shit Though I would like to race this thing one day........ ......it would probaly beat mines its probaly got 250hp my ride only has 225

  • Primera's are junk

  • LMAO that 6.6L is making way more than 250horses

  • 250 horses thats a good one, take your jap shit away from here.

  • You also have to consider the torque on these cars, they almost double their horse power ratings. Just something to think about when you hammer one of these beasts.

  • ur a dum fukin ricer pussy, it sounds so fukin nice and ur gay, it wud shit on ur fukin rice

  • cool stuff

  • it does look good actually, but I more prefer...actually the red on the trans am or black...but you have to make the bird gold.

  • I think the whole gold idea is actually pretty nice. I loved it. Sweet car man

  • it is a 77 trans am, not 78. and gold looks good, but it looks like crap on a trans am.

  • Hmm i think it perfectly fits on a trans am but i prefer black more i think...

  • best base colors on a 77 Trans Am are gold, with gold rims and a black bird, or black with gold rims and a gold bird.

  • you should have made it a Bandit Trans Am. 1977 T/A are rare

  • Ya my dad got one its blue but theres 1 hting that i wonder wat is that gold 1 doing in uk and should of doen some burnouts

  • nice car id like to get one

  • i got one of those 78 gold trans ams but mine has a black interior and it sounds alot better than that

  • How does that not sound like a 6.6? V8 power! Great car mate, got one coming from Coventry for my prom.
