He had to change his game or not play; coaches were hating on his flash and unorthodoxy, that's why the Kings traded him and his flamboyance steadily flagged after leaving Sacramento. He was considered by many to be one of the premier centers in the world from the 1980s through the early 21st century, he only played in the NBA for 8 years 1995-2003 with Portland, but he was a 6 time Euro player of the year, and could handle the ball with the skills of a point guard while rebounding and blocking shots with the best of them, but i guess you cant expect 12 year olds to understand what real talent is.
