  • Unfortunately, PBS cannot compete with the primetime lineups of the networks because PBS does not require any affiliate to air nationally syndicated programs produced by member stations because some stations, such as UNC-TV in North Carolina, are partnered with universities and agree to show programming produced by the school. Fox shouldn't be considered a network; they should be forced by the federal government to have a full news program (FNC DOES NOT COUNT, RUPERT MURDOCH!).
